    I bought this iPhone 5c for my son because I didn't want to add more to monthly cell phone bill and we are an Apple family but the 5c with its plastic colored casing is cheaply made and I prefer the 5S or newer for quality. It has not had any technical or mechanical problems and is working good. But with limited funds we chose the 5C refurbished from Best Buy because they offer quality and can be trusted. I would recommend refurbished iPhones from Best Buy but, if funds allow choose a different model.

    It's been 2 months since this purchase. Very anxious about performance of a pre-owned device. No problems whatsoever. Looks and behaves like a brand new phone right out of the box. There is a very good chance in purchasing another pre-owned phone in the future.

    Phone arrived in great shape no scratches or dings. Screen is still very responsive. Aside from not coming in the apple box it would be hard not to think this wasn't a brand new phone. The only thing that is mildly annoying is that since it is unlocked/jail broken it doesn't work with my iTunes without several updates and annoying bypasses. However I can get my purchased list on the phone's iTunes so all was not lost

    The battery dies within 20 minutes. It loses charge quickly, then when it reaches about 60% it dies completely. Sometimes when I plug it in after that it shows that there is still charge left, but won't turn on. None of the quick fixes I found online helped.

    Got this 5C, works fine till today in 2021, got small crack on the corner but it works fine though.

    Phone was very dirty and had scratches in the front and the back, did not looked refurbished in any way. There needs to be some kind of quality control before this phones are sent out, I bought it to give to my daughter as a first phone but I would not even be comfortable donating the phone.
