I bought this for my daughter to do her schoolwork on and got the matching bookcase so she could have something nice that matches to take with her when she gets married. There were a couple of bad places on it when we took it out of the box but the thing that concerned us the most was when we read the instructions. The very front sheet in bold letters said that it needed to be anchored to the wall so it doesn’t fall over. Well, that highly concerned me about it tipping over and falling on someone like my grandchildren. I’m not going to bolt a desk to the wall because I may want to move it around in the future and I don’t want a bunch of holes in my walls. The legs were too small for the heaviness of this desk. It was extremely top-heavy. The color was really nice and the look of it was really nice but it definitely was a danger’s desk that was not thought well of when it was designed. I took it right back to the store. I never even opened the book case because I wasn’t going to keep the matching desk.
