This is an excellent set that is fun both while building and after! A few of my 6 year old students were able to build this almost completely on their own with very little help. The instructions are clear and broken down in a helpful and easy way. The kids loved all the special little pieces, like the watering can and all the fruits and veggies, especially the stalks and the way the carrots pop up. They thought the giant carrot and the minifigures were funny, particularly the girl with the blue hair. They absolutely love the food truck and all its moving parts and places that open up. The sliding window is a very fun little detail. You can never go wrong with anything with wheels as far as kids are concerned! This truck rolls smoothly and has so much playability beside just driving it around. Beyond being a farmers market truck, my students have pretended it was a Taco truck and an ice cream truck as well. This set can also be used educationally at many age levels to create discussions around healthy foods, farming, communities, money concepts or even potentially, for older age groups, about sustainability and buying local. This set would go well with any other city sets you may have. Overall this is a fantastic set for both home and classroom!

Great educational value and great interactive set for that gardener you know. Lots of moving parts for fun play. Easy to add to this set from other sets (ie animals, minifigs, more plants and veggies. Terriffic farm to grocery store/farmers market.
