Oscar worthy cast. Amazing story, characters, amazing acting.

Bought it because of its cast. Slow and a childish story. But it was only $7.99. Thought that was a bargain until I found it on Hulu. Oh well.

I thought this was a vastly underrated movie and one of the best of that year. The characters are all jerks, and it's hardly a feel good movie, yet I left the theatre exhilirated due to the brilliance of what I had just witnessed. From the hauntingly beautiful Damien Rice song "The Blower's Daughter" that serves as the theme, to the clever and witty writing and the very sharp acting and directing, I thought this was a tour de force. It is a dark film, and may not be for everyone, but I loved it.

A twisted tale of love and loss and finding meaning in life, I really enjoyed it, the actors and actresses do a phenomenal job of portraying very real, emotional human beings.
