The BooM delivers in so many ways. Having owned several of the higher quality iPod/mp3 speaker units none of them fills a large room with music so clearly and with such incredible power as the BooM does. Honestly, I feel as though the BooM matches the ability of my larger and very costly 5.1 channel home theater system and my friends were amazed also. Its sleek glossy appearance and style alone are worth owning this unit, it’s beautiful. I own the iPod 80 GB HD and my teen daughter owns the iPod Nano, both of us find the BooM simple to use. It has many nice features including the ability to quickly charge our iPods while docked on the BooM. The BooM does not have an EQ adjustment, but given the fact that you can make this adjustment on your iPod and on most Mp3 players it really is just a small inconvenience for the exceptional sound the BooM delivers. Also, I noticed a slight delay of about 4 secs when turning on or off the BooM with the remote control, so expect that, but it works flawlessly every time. No matter what type of tunes, and we listen to just about everything, if you love music you’re going to love the BooM! > I give the BooM a strong 4.8 on a scale of 1-5.
