This series uses the Holy City as its background scenery... which is breath taking and very visually appealing, and I believe; only adds to the dynamics of this series. I found "DIG" to be a very exciting, dramatic, detective story. It brings you through the twists and turns of a US and Israeli detective team; not by choice... and how their combined efforts together, uncover a successfully solve the fascinating plot of this non stop, action packed, Indiana Jones like adventure! There are so many layers within this series, and stories, that it would be difficult not to find some aspect of this to enjoy. If you like intrigue, drama, and everything else that I have outlined... You will not be sorry to watch or buy this. Cheers!

Jason Isaacs is really the actor who holds this movie together. The movie itself is better if watched at one seating. But it is too long for that. There are at least three parallel stories that are being continuously running at the same time, so it can be disconcerning at times because it cuts away from the story going on in Jerusalem. Anne Heche, who is the local supports Jason Isaacs character in Jerusalem, is fairly good but seems a little timid for this role. Eventually, all the three stories come together at the end, but it takes patience on your part for this to happen. This makes for a very uneven movie because the interest in all the parts is not as great. Takes too long for it to come together.

DIG is an outstanding thriller built on an interesting premise. There are plot twists to keep you engaged, enough action to keep things from lagging, and visual locations. To bad there won't be a second season, but season one wraps up and stands alone.

I had to watch till the end just to see if they could actually make it plausible or even possible to believe the end of the world could happen from said event. Answer NO, but still enjoyable as pure escapism

Bought this and 2 other DVDs as Christmas gifts for a sibling so not really able to comment on content since haven't seen all the episodes.

This of course is only my opinion. I liked the show but not as much as many others. If there is a second season I doubt I will buy it.

The cast was very good. The story line was interesting if also a bit farfetched. The location of many scenes seemed authentic.

This was one very strange series. It started off a little odd but picked up in action. It can also get gory at time.

This is one of the most intriguing series I have watched concerning the Bible. Highly recommend!! You will NOT be disappointed!!

Dig series is a very good, suspense series. I really like the whole set up for the series. It is very interesting and you will watch it until the end.
