I was a little skeptical when I purchased this movie but was pleasantly surprised that it was good. they did alter Nancy into a tomboy but her characterization has changed a lot over the years so its fine. the mystery followed the original book well enough but added a few more intricacies to keep it interesting. Also, all of the jokes were spot on and made me laugh. Hopefully they'll make more.

I have the B/W movie of Nancy Drew and it was a very good movie. I took a chance buying this one and turned out to be a good movie for the whole family to enjoy. Great for young girls with big dreams when they grow up.

It's a sweet return to one of the best book series . The real question is why have we not seem this girl before . She rocks the mystery world . .. and look forward to the sequel .

Just like the original books. We loved to see what the characters were going to do. Loved seeing how it was made too

This film absolutely exceeded my expectations. It is a great family film and such an interesting take on Nancy Drew. I loved it! The DVD cover is also beautiful!

This movie is not anywhere close to the book series. That said, this movie is smart and a lot of fun to watch as Nancy tries to solve the haunting of an old house.
