This is the coolest and most ingenious light art I've ever seen for the home. Bigger than I was expecting and much more versitile than expected. The options are endless for animations, color schemes, moods, temps and brightness levels.

...and yes, I had to call the Nanoleaf help desk for tech support-- I'm a software engineer, so that always stings a little.
When I first powered up the Aurora 9-panel set, they all turned white, then faded into a factory-set animation. However, once moving the set into the room into which I was planning on installing them, I could not get any of the animated scenes to work via the mobile app. I could only make them all fade/change all at once. The hardware buttons on the controller were not working, either.
After multiple hard- and soft-reboots of the controller, and trying the beta version of the Android app, I called tech support. Chris worked with me intelligently and promptly, and we got to the bottom of the problem, with the help of some remote debugging. Turns out, it was a faulty controller, and they had one sent out as soon as it was determined to be the problem.
If I didn't even have to call tech support in the first place, I would have given 5 stars. As it was, the hardware was faulty, but good service made up for it. Sticking with 4 stars for now...

Does not work with iOS

Sadly does not work with iOS despite being "homekit ready." I even received a replacement from them to ensure it wasn't a hardware issue. This device simply does not know how to connect via wifi under iOS and they obviously did not test it thoroughly.

Interesting product but simply not reliable. Wi-Fi connectivity is terrible. Every time I try to show it off to guests, it's not working, showing as unavailable on my network. I have to unplug power to it daily to force a reboot so it appears on the network. When it works it's fun but for this level of reliability it is WAY over priced. Support people are responsive but suggestions have not improved function. Mine is headed for eBay in an attempt to recoup anything from purchase price.
