Customers are saying

Customers regard the Nanoleaf Essentials Matter Smart Holiday String Lights positively for their vibrant color options, user-friendly app, and reasonable price point. The brightness and customizability of the lights are also highly praised. However, some users have experienced connectivity issues, particularly with maintaining a stable connection to the app.

Dont waste your money on these glitchy lights. They were great for a couple of weeks, but won’t work consistently anymore.

Really neat on a tree! Integrations okay.

They look great on a holiday tree, and there's quite a bit of freedom to customize the colors and effects. No frantic blinking or chasing. You get smooth, customizable animations (or not if you don't want). It integrates with matter, so you can do a simple on/off from Home Assistant or Google/Alexa. It'd be nice if you could set the scene/effect over matter. Overall, if you can grab them on sale, I'd recommend them!

They were working good, set up was easy. However within 3 weeks they didnt turn on. Also, they were always unreachable and i couldn’t turn the off from the app. I bought 2 pairs 1 that didnt work and a spare. I didnt open one box but im returning both because i was just very disappointed.

The lights are fine, but the app is terrible and you cannot connect it to anything needing WiFi. Who wants to spend Christmas downloading firmware updates to stupid Christmas lights?
