Getting the actual device set up is super simple and the app makes it easy to get connected to your home wifi. Lights are bright and the colors look great. Only drawback is the app isn't very user friendly. If the app requires as many tutorials as are in it, maybe it's a sign you need to simplify the user interface. Overall love the product though!

I've been seeing these things for years on gaming and tech videos and I was torn between these and the Lifx Beam, which has been out of stock everywhere for months. My girlfriend knew I wanted them for the longest time and got them for me as a birthday gift. They are super awesome and super bright! Seriously, you'll want to turn these things down to about 50% or 60% brightness if you want to keep from being blinded. You've got tons of options to choose from, from color schemes to light effects and can even create your own. However, the app for this in it's current state is a dumpster fire, it constantly disconnects whenever I leave the app and I have to reset the light by unplugging it if I want to use the app again. That's seriously my only gripe about this light and it's more so the app itself than the light. It connects and works seamlessly with Google Home, though it's limited in what it can do as opposed to the app. And when you do get the app to work, you can download scenes and light effects to the light itself and change via the mode button on the light, which bypasses some of the need for the app. All in all, it's a super awesome light and pictures and videos of it just don't do it proper justice, it's absolutely amazing for any gaming setup! Best gift ever!

These lights were easy to set up, contrary to most information out there these lights can work with or without WiFi as they do have a hotspot mode as well. There are preset modes for those who have no WiFi or have limited ranges, this does limit the brightness control you have if you aren't using WiFi unless you have the remote which can control brightness as well. I was aware of the trouble these have had connecting for certain people in the past however this was not my case. My connection with this device has been strong and consistent and I do not have the most extravagant router. These lights are brighter than you may think but look great on brightness levels ranging from 40%-100%. The app is intuitive and straightforward. If you have many smart home devices connected to your router you may experience issues with this product (10s-20s), however if you have few or none there should be no issues. I hope this review was helpful to you.

These lights are beautiful; way more than you'd think just looking at the box. Panels are laughably easy to set up and integrate into your smart home. Works with Google Home, IFTTT, the iHome - Homekit app, and Alexa. Perfect for mood lighting, actual usable lighting, or a great decorating piece.

    My favorite smarthome light ever!

The Nanoleaf Aurora is completely amazing. Everyone that comes to my house loves it and wants one for themselves. I bought this when they first came out last year around Christmas time. I bought 3 starter packs because Bestbuy offered the expansion pack for FREE a $60 savings! (I have not seen this deal since or I would buy 3 more) Now I have 27 light panels on my wall that help set the mood for any occasion. Weather it be working, reading, listening to music, or party mode with the new Rhythm module, this light is outstanding. It's like living interactive artwork. I have it in our dining room where it becomes an instant conversation topic during dinner parties. I even let my friends create their own lighting scenes with their name on it so when they come back again all I have to do is say "Siri turn on Andy" and his design instantly comes on!! Amazing !!! I would recommend this to anyone who loves lighting. I say to the person who left 1 star, get a new one! There will always be bad apples with any technology you buy. I have not had any trouble with mine at all.

Our son got these as a gift and he loves them. I'll admit they are a bit pricey, but seem to be made well and perform well also. They were simple to install on the wall and hook together. You can control them several ways: by the simple controls on the leaves themselves, via a phone app, and I believe that our son can control them using software on his PC. They are super bright on full setting and thankfully are dimmable as well. The colors are vibrant and seemingly limitless. The leaves are expandable as well if you have the money to spare.

Super fun, endlessly customizable, can be programmed, Google voice control, Alexa voice control, easy to put up, just really really fun. Now the bad. Clean the surface really well and let it fully dry. The Command See are a bit picky, had a few fall right off the wall. If you ever want to take them off the wall you have to have part of the Command Strip, the pull tab, showing. It takes a little from the display. When the strips stick they really stick. Ended up with a little drywall coming away with the strip as I had to take a few down to redo my pattern after a the few fell off. The last not great thing, one set is fine but you might end up like me and getting more and more to make super fun patterns on your wall, this costs a little too much to do the way I really wanted too.

I love these lights, and I get comments on them all the time. I have them as the main light for my living room, and they are amazing. They can get VERY bright, and very dim. Easily controllable via their app or with a smart assistant (Alexa, Siri, Google). The colors and patterns are endless! I do wish they could be taken down and reorganized a little more easily. They stick with double sided tape, so you have to be sure of how and where you want them.

As an RGB nerd, I put rgb anywhere I can. Every room is a party room. I put these leafs on a wall behind me and it gives off an awesome aesthetic during my live streams. Easy to set up, tho the wifi and app connection can be a little tricky to use. Very fun to arrange. Tons of colors and modes to choose from. These have been really fun. And until Philips Hue decides to enter this particular space, I'll be recommending these to everyone who needs a little more rgb in their life.

After reading many reviews that praised these light panels, I thought "Okay, they should be fine." I have to say, I really fell in love with these. The most difficult thing about setting these up are deciding what design you want and if you should by more! Are they perfect, no. But they are awesome. Really bright, responsive, integrates with the Amazon Echo, and the rhythm module makes these lights so cool. Now that the price has gone down a smidge, it's a little more affordable but still expensive.

I purchased the Nanoleaf for our 16 year old and he is over the moon with it. The lights are so bright that at times I literally can not look at them as it's like looking into the burning rays of the sun. The lights flash, twinkle, shimmer, and many other fun settings. Our son has an iPhone so he downloaded the app to make different settings and you operate the lights from the app. One of his favorite is the sound setting where the lights blink to the beat of his speakers or when he is talking they will blink to his voice. The ONLY downside I have found is that the panels do have a lifespan on them and need replaced eventually. To me that is not enough to deter me from purchasing the replacement panels. Nanoleaf has new geometric shaped panels so we will add and replace over time. It appears the life of these panels are around a year or so depending on usage. I'll probably have to replace earlier due to him leaving lights on almost 24/7. The installation of the lights was so easy the only hard part was figuring what design he wanted and then sticking them to the wall. We just lined them up on his bed and then measured center on wall and built out from there. I definitely recommend if you've been on the fence or if you were not interested.

Seriously, I'm not sure where they get off with their pricing but for what these do -- change colors and provide light -- I don't see them being worth the money. HOWEVER, I bought them anyway. They add a neat futuristic aesthetic once you get them working. The app is confusing and a bit janky, and setup was an absolute nightmare. To this day I have an issue with Google Home saying "Sorry, something went wrong with C2C Table Light" when I tell Google to turn then on or off. I can hear Google repeating those words in my head clear as day. Is this what PTSD is like?

my main reasoning to buying these lights was the fact that my family room only has one small lights worse and I needed something to fill the entire room with ambient light. So I purchased the nanoleaf lights and was definitely not disappointed! Literally millions of color options very bright to very dim that fills the entire room with light I am extremely happy with these I am definitely considering buying another set fuss more expansion packs for other rooms in the house.

Overall I really like the nanoleafs. They are super bright and works well with the rhythm module, I puchased a 3mm aux splitter so I could plug an aux from my phone to my headphones and also the module. This way theres no ambient sounds screwing up the pattern. The only thing I dislike is the app, it is pretty constantly saying it can't find the nano leaf panels, or there is random disconnections and then you have to do a hard reset of the panels. However I still think they look super cool and do recommend. They just need to work on the app.

I absolutely love the lights and they are exactly what I was looking for! The fact you can adjust the brightness is awesome, only issue i had with the setup was connecting it to the wifi which was a pain to the point that mine are not connected. One other tiny issue is the adhesives it comes with don't last long. Ive have mine up for a bit more than a month and they are slowly becoming less adhesive causing the lights to shift. Other than that i regret nothing about this purchase and will be getting more eventually

I love this product, and although it's very expensive for what it is, the colors are extremely saturated and vibrant. The 3M strips work extremely well on the walls since the panels are extremely light. My ONLY complaint is that they are only compatible with a 2.4 GHz wifi connection, not 5 GHz. I really wish I knew this information before buying but I didn't do my research. Luckily I have a compatible network, but be warned that if you don't have a 2.4 GHz network, these will not be compatible.

Got this plus the expansions, works well, has some connectivity issues when the paired device gets off the network, or if the controller is disconnected from power. A soft reset by holding both buttons on the controller while powered on usually does the trick. Planning on putting magnets on the panels and putting metal sheet(likely metal strips) on the wall so i can re-arrange them as i want. Is sort of expensive though.

This lights are one of the best light panels in the market. Even though they’re hard to find but if you find some available, they’re worth the price tag. Connectivity only works through 2g wifi so it’s just kind of annoying having to switch back and forth from your phone to a different wifi. Other than that it’s perfect ease of use.

I bought this product to get some more light and energy in my room. I love it and in my opinion is worth every penny. I had a problem with the app due to my wifi being trash (although its not mandatory for wifi, it is definitely needed for color changing effects) but after the set up process everything works smoothly.

Loved these lights ! My boyfriend has been wanting these lights and got him these as a present. And he loves them. I bought these and the set of 3. They are very bright and I like how you can connect them to a phone to control the colors and the brightness. Best part is that you can buy more and they all sync together
