Many appreciate the design flexibility, allowing for creative wall arrangements. However, some customers find the price to be high for the number of panels included, and a few have noted concerns about the adhesive tape.

You are going to want these, you might as well get them as soon as you get your initial unit. The Aurora is as addictive a piece of technology as your PC or Console game unit.

I have around 24 Nanoleaf lights, and plan on adding more. They are cool, and a conversation piece.

If you have the nano leaf panel set than this is a must buy right out the gate. It opens up more arrangements possibilities. If you don't buy these when you buy your original panel pack than I bet you'll be back ordering these within the next week. Personally I can't wait to get more and start filling up a wall filled with these panels. Really a fantastic addition to any space.

Got these on sale for $40 a few weeks ago to expand upon my current setup. Can’t complain and I love the way they look!

These things are easy to use (good design) and installation is easy. I would recommend buying the upgraded 3M 16lb picture hanging tape instead of using the tape the leafs come with (they kinda suck). Leafs started falling within 2 months. The upgraded tape works much better. The rhythm adapter addon is also worth it. I use it alot.

NanoLeaf has updated versions of these that have a few different shapes, but I started on these a couple year ago and love them. They can be configured in patterns of up to 30 triangles. I use 22 in my office. Makes it so much more fun. Can be in any color or pattern, and animates as well. You can pull down pre-made ones people made using the app. The Rhythm Edition will pulse to music, though I don't use it for that. Also enables communicating wirelessly with home integration assistants like Alexa. Also there is a separate ball-sized controller you can use to change the pattern just by rotating the ball. All in all a great product. A bit expensive at about $75 for each 3-panel expansion pack, but obviously it was worth it to me. Oh, and it sticks to the wall with included two-sided tape. My experience is that it is paint-safe.

Smooth and easy to use. So much more colorful and fun than buying boring picture art as this is electronic light art that moves to your tunes! Very pretty and can be styled to users design and preferences. Absolutely stunning in so many ways!

Aurora is going to be our latest obsession. We started with the basic kit (9 panels) and we've added two more expansion packs and I'm sure it won't stop anytime soon. From terrific mood lighting to exciting party modes Aurora is a fun device you will just love. The app is easy to use and ties in with Apple Homekit and other smart home platforms too. Have fun!

This expansion pack works flawlessly with the base units for Nanoleaf, as should be expected. They come with everything you need to hook them up and with some 3M adhesive, though we prefer to use the Velcro kind as it is easier to remove and adjust. At $20 per panel it feels a little steep, but aligns with the $20 price point for a single panel.

These extra 3 tiles are a great addition to the 9 that come with the starter pack. They behave exactly like the original, easy to add onto whatever design you have and easy to mount with the included 3M tabs. Speaking of design, the difference between a 9 tile and 12 tile design is huge, I would definitely recommend one extra set, AT LEAST. I've purchased several

You can create your own themes, also I got a great deal on these from best buy. Set up is easy, and use a 3M double sided tape to mount them on the wall.
Reacts well to music, and I have different themes based on the Apps such as Netflix/Hulu/HBO Go

I ended up putting these in my area of hangout in the basement, I love how I can connect these to my google home and change the color of the panels right from the app or google home. They def add a nice accent, and are fairly responsive, with only a slight lag when switching modes or colors.
My two gripes are:
1. They don’t lock into each other, which makes hanging these things a bit of a nightmare. It would be better if they locked in, that way I could make the shape I want and then just stick the whole thing on at once. It was a pain trying to slide/connect these with 3m adhesive on the back of each panel catching the wall.
2. They really figured out how to give you either not enough to make complete shapes, and then when you do buy an expansion like I did, you may have a few left over which is a huge waste of money. It tempts me to buy more.

This order was probably lower than others because the Christmas deal slowed down my order by about 2 weeks. The only other reason why this would be a 4 instead of 5 is that I wish these are not in store and the only way to get is by ordering, so I'm left with no option except to order, wait and hope no delays occur. Also, setup can be tricky when they update. Takes some time to re-do, and it's hard to move off a wall once you set up.
THE GOOD: I am in love with my Nanoleaf. The colors are so great, and the best value comes from the mirroring capacity. I am left speechless when I do that, and I never purchased these lights with the intention of using it that way above my 65" TV setup over the fireplace. It just adds so much to my condo. It's probably my favorite piece of tech inside my house.
