Nathaniel Rateliff is such a unique force in music. His song SOB has been used in many commercials and for those of us who know the lyrics of this song aren't surprised that it was the musical portions of the song that are featured but that's how powerful his music is musically and lyrically.

A true folky rock soul expression. From depression to joy to chemical dependency! They have an answer to sobriety with songs like "S. O. B." Music you can groove to angry or sad and the outcome is always the same...happiness or what we substitute it with!

This album is awesome! If you like southern rock mixed with a little soul, them you need this album. To me, it sounds like a mix between Elvis, Ray Charles, and Kinds Of Leon. Every song is sung with heart and I cannot wait until they make more music.

Was hooked on the band with the single, "S.O.B."; while the music is good and seems a curious yet intelligent mix of blues and gritty rock, a lot of it ends up sounding similar...not all of it mind you, but some tracks sound repetitive. I do enjoy the album and glad I bought it, but I do wish a little more variety in the sound was done. That said, it's a pretty solid set and worth the money.

There are no fillers on this CD. The song "Look it Here" reminds me of the '68 soul era. Seems as if the some bands are going back to that sound. As for the hit S.O.B., well, it doesn't get much better than that, does it?

The songs on this album will have you singing along, tapping your feet, and bobbing your head to the music. Very addicting, and the hit single S.O.B. is hands down one of the best songs I've heard in the last few years.

I love this band! Just discovered Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats. So glad my Best Buy had the album in-store. Great old-school roots/soul sound. Can't wait for their next album.

heard this group the other day and looked them up on youtube and ordered the cd immediately and this group doesnt dissappoint....great music and i hope they tour around my way soon.

Really unique and wonderful music. I was browsing the local store and came across this disc. You definitely need to check it out, it's got that kind of Memphis sound to it.

Loved exploring some new artist. I heard one of his songs from a friend, it was SOB. Liked the rhythm and loved the words so bought the CD. Loved all the other songs.

Not only can I listen on shuffle by on repeat as well. perfect background music for whatever is going on, especially when drinking a cocktail or two.

Saw this guy without the night sweats and I did not think much of him...but with the Night Sweats he has turned out a raucous slab of hot rock and roll.

Great songs ranging from straight ahead rockers and blues to more subdued heartfelt ballads. I love every song on this cd...not one disappointing song

I heard SOB on the radio one day and had to have the CD. All of the songs are great. I never knew he existed but I will be getting more of his albums.

This band gets some radio play on one of our local independent stations (WDST in Woostock NY!) and I really like their sound. Kind of a hard R&B gospel revival or something like that. I've only listened to the CD a couple of times through, but I like it more each time.

There is a certain vibe you get from Nathaniel Rateliff. The songs are simple and easy to listen to, yet can really move you. Good stuff.

Heard SOB through my Facebook feed and couldn't stand still! To that end, the entire collection is chock full of little snipets of joy!

I'm sure I'm not the only one who fell in love with SOB the first time I heard it. Feel good song of the year, and the rest of the album is almost as good. I've played this for a bunch of people at a party and everyone loved it. Several bought it the next day.

Heard one of their songs on YouTube. Immediately went out to purchase it. I am not disappointed by the quality of the musicality
