The new STEELBOOK for Oliver Stone’s 1994 masterpiece NATURAL BORN KILLERS, from Best Buy, is gorgeous! The new special features for NBK were very interesting (especially the interview with Director Of Photography, Robert Richardson) as well. My only question is, why not bring this out next year for the film’s 30th anniversary?? Aside from that, I highly recommend this Best Buy NBK STEELBOOK! A+++

Oliver Stone's 1994 masterwork "Natural Born Killers" arrives on 4K in a handsome Steelbook package via Shout Factory. This is an ultimate 3-disc set with contains: The Unrated Director's Cut on 4K, The Unrated Director's Cut on Blu-ray with new interviews and R-Rated Theatrical Cut on Blu-ray. This release contains all previous video supplements from past separate releases. "Natural Born Killers" follows the story of Mickey and Mallory Knox (Woody Harrelson and Juliette Lewis), two young lovers who have had enough of the dark repetitive suffering in their past and decide to unleash their demons by murdering dozens of innocent people on a violent cross-country killing spree. Unbeknownst to them, Mickey and Mallory become media superstars, when TV personality Wayne Gale (Robert Downey Jr.) exploits their violent actions for TV ratings. With a crooked cop (Tom Sizemore) hot on their trail...and Gale thirsting for that one on one exclusive interview upon their capture...the third act of "NBK" is pure chaos. Based on an original screenplay by Quentin Tarantino, who notoriously detached himself from the film due to creative differences (beginning with the controversial act of Stone and company rewriting his work), "Natural Born Killers" is a brilliant satiric look at the social media of the time...particularly network television. Masterfully and outlandishly directed by Oliver Stone, who uses a handful of different film formats (35mm 16mm Super 8) and well as videotape, animation and a slew of different color grades to deliver his message. Viscerally amazing, gratuitously violent, with flawless performances from everyone across the board...it safe to say that "NBK" is a film unlike any other.

This ultraviolet movie isn't for the faint of heart.

It's been decades since this film came out and there really isn't anything like it still. Art film, Satire, hyper violent romance, countless technique mashup, animation. The are several Lo-Fi visual techniques that can only look so good even on this awesome 4k so don't expect super crisp image throughout. But this edition shines regardless. Highly recommended, if you can handle it.

This new 4K UHD is easily the best home video presentation of this masterpiece. The image quality was stunning, and I'd never heard it sound so impressive. I'm so glad to have it in my collection and can't wait to show it to friends. Fans should definitely upgrade to this version, and if you haven't seen it, trust me and take a chance on it. There's nothing like Natural Born Killers!

Natural Born Killers is one of the best movies of the 1990’s! The Best Buy Exclusive Steelbook edition of this 4K release is beautiful! And the transfer was beautifully handled by Shout Factory! It looks and sounds great!

Best Buy is my go to for the Biggest Selection of 4K Steelbook Movies. On line is boring. Seeing movies in Store is where Best Buy is above the Rest.

Natural born killers was a trip ! Lots of blood and guts The story line weird? The effects and story line who would think Oliver Stone would do a film like this good directing!

Love it! Love that there are 3 discs & the new feature types are awesome cause they interview the people that helped make this great: the cinematographer, the Editor & the producer. Great box set!

Movie is relevant today. Country is obsessed with murder. Oliver Stone did a fantastic job. Steelbook 4k is awesome addition to my collection.

Always purchase my steelbooks from Bestbuy! The packaging for shipping could be better, but I’ve always had a good experience.
