  • Mushy Junk. Melted While on Windshield.

    After a few months of use, I noticed the phone mount slowly sliding down the windshield leaving behind a trail of sticky black gunk. We live north of San Diego, and while it can get hot occasionally, it doesn't get that hot. Apparently the material used for the suction part of the mount can't handle heat well. Interesting that my Garmin mount has been attached to the windshield just a few inches to the side for several years, and aside from having to reattach it to the windshield every few months it hasn't had any issues with heat. Not recommended at all. Very disappointed in this piece of junk.
