This is my all time favorite basketball game of all time as it let's you play as MJ throughout his whole career with all different variation.

As always a great game the graphics are amazing and it always feels like you are at a real game.

Bought this game for my new XBOX. I enjoy playing it and am still finding ways to challenge myself in the game.

This is basketball at it's best.I never seen it done so well.The controls are much tighter than last year,they did tweak the defense down from last year,team match up games online are based on veto votes,so you dont have to stick with the same old teams the cpu gives you,my player is back and better than ever,Legends are a thing of the past? Not in this game,they are represented so well that you can even play games in classic black and white,even in old arenas.The soundtrack could have been a little better,but Kurtis Blow's song "Basketball" will get up pumped to play this game.For my money I would say if your a basketball fan,and who knows if there will be an NBA season this year I say buy this game it's worth the season ticket,because NBA 2K12 is the best basketball sim ever.

Starting with the music soundtracks its awesome. You can unlock 15 classic teams; LA Lakers team with SHaq & Kobe. The My Player mode is awesome the announcers say your last name if it is common and even when you score the scoreman says your last name pretty cool! After every game there are post game interviews on your player you have 4 choices to choose from. Another great thing is the Alley Oop backboard pass to teammates is easy to do and looks nice. I am still working on self Alley Oop like Tracey Mcgrady did in the All-Star Game; that would be great if it can be done; then this game would be gold if they let you do self ally oops on a fast break. Overall you won't be dissappointed with this years 2k12. I still think NBa2K11 has better replays when playing the Jordan mode. NBA2k11 just $20 new & used for less another must buy.

The only thing holding the game back is online. I play mostly legends mode and offline dynasty and the game is great

with revamped graphics, modes, and gameplay, this has to be the best installment of the game. Franchise mode, and my player mode just get better and better. While rookies are not included in the original copy, they will be avaible in free downloadable content.

There are two aspects of the 2K series that stand-out when compared to the EA franchises. The controls are highly advanced, but not intuitive. You will spend a season alone establishing muscle memory on where to move each analog stick and trigger in relation to the camera. It's worth it. The second aspect is the create-a-player career mode. I was so impressed with how 2K immersed you in this world. You not only have a fully customizable face/body, but you go through interviews, post-game conferences, manage your money, and drills to improve performance. Highly recommended if you're looking for something more than a quick-play.

Alright so I just finished the Demo of NBA2K12 and yes the game is vary good, handles nice, shot stick is a bit odd but it works with in min's I was already used to using. and one point to hit on if your not a fan of shooting with the stick they also left X to shoot talking Xbox of course, game is sold and will be a buy when it comes out, the only thing that I would really change about the game, would be that I wish they would have spent some more time on the graphics of the game, it is smooth yes but I feel like im playing my PS2 again for graphics wiz

Personally just fromm how 2k had 3 different covers was very creative. Plus the gameplay is better than last year and the graphics were superb.

Great game well worth the price. bad thing is played a few weeks an now is showing unreadable disk? It does not have the ring of death on it and the XBOX was not moved with the game still in it so I have no idea why it just stopped working

NBA 2k sports has not failed me yet and it is so great to the point that they stopped EA from making another basketball game. they make the game so realistic, its like i'm watching a real game. keep on with the god work 2K!!

This is what my son wanted for his birthday and he really enjoys it!

Bought this for my husband for Christmas and he loves it! He says it is harder that 2K11, but he plays it almost everyday! I got it for a great price, so I was happy! Game play is great, I thought he was watching a real game, but he was playing the game! He plays Xbox Live and loves it. It was nice that it even recongized MLK day! I thought it was great!

Its a great game, the only thing wrong with it is that every 6 to 10 games I play it freezes and the screen just turn grey after, its disappointed when im playing my season and having an excellent game and have to start over again, sucks....

What is not to love? Runs smoother, solid play. Loving every minute of play

I am not going to review or talk about all of the nuances of the game. Bottom line is, when we first got it home, I found myself bored while playing it as it did not engage me the way I expected. Maybe I just need to play it some more. The graphics are sub-par (playstation 2 quality), and the players turn the ball over on each end of the court to where it's nearly impossible to make a play or score. Overall, in my opinion, this game is NOT worth $60. I feel like I got cheated. It needs to be about 29.99.

I had such high hopes for this game and it didn't match up to them. This game is boring and repetitive. The CPU holds the ball till the shot clock runs down then jacks up a shot. You can't drive at all on this game which is a big part of basketball. This game seems like it is made for you to pass around until you have an open 3 because you always shoot a higher percent from 3 than inside the arc. The one bright spot of this game is the addition to the post play. You have a lot of new moves to use and are very effective.

HORRIBLE GAME!!! I usually love 2k, it's one of the only video games I play, but this year's game was incredibly disappointing. I've personally experienced over 50 different glitches. The most disappointing aspect is the overall gameplay... very different from prior years' games and VERY frustrating to play with. It's not really harder, it's just a lot cheaper (ex: Udonis Haslem draining highly contested, fadeaway game-winners). Too many things wrong with this game to list. Just don't buy it - save your money and play 2k11 with an updated roster. Hopefully next year's game will be better.
