This is my first time buying a nba 2K game. I never liked 2K at all. I only bought this because I wanted to play with friends and family online. Overall this game is pretty decent. I'm not to fond of the control gameplay for the game. It's hard to maneuver the players. It is hard to consistently score. There is also a lot of bogus fouls called away from the ball. Lol I like the game because I can use my created player online. I get to make the siblings mad because of me always beating them, now that I got used to the controls.

Bought this game for my son and he loves it. The graphics are really good and we've had people say they thought it was a real game when they first saw it. Audio is also very good and sounds great using a surround sound setup. He's happy with the level of difficulty and really enjoys playing this game.

Overall, I really enjoyed it. I have spent most time playing the career mode, which is a lot of fun. They have really added a lot more depth, including press conferences, and meetings with GM, which are a nice touch. As for downfalls, I still feel like the game play is quirky at times--I have had so many times when players will throw the ball 20 feet away from the player, or just seem to do inexplicable things that ultimately affect your grade.

Because I'm not likely to start programming plays, and get into the complexities I just wanted something fun to play with my nephew when he was here. So we bought the 2014 version, teed it up and went right to work. Easy gameplay for the most part, even for an older guy like myself. It was well worth the sale price.

It's got great graphics.ycareer mode is great. Fun

Although it is several years later, I am still playing 2k14. It is an excellent game, and I have not found the need to shell out the money to upgrade yet. Still going strong!

Controls are easy and allow for good game play. Only issue is its last years version so won't have all the most current players on each team. But for the price worth buying.

Year after year, the game developers continue to make games more and more difficult to control. My biggest complaint about the game is the seemingly impossible to learn advanced controls. It's just too complicated. Other than that the graphics are ok, but lacking in some major areas. Game modes are excellent and definitely keep me coming back for more. Not a whole lot of competition out there, but this is a solid game.

2K14 Does it again with another great rendition of a fun and challenging series. Great graphics and game play with fun new player moves. Can't wait for 2K15!

Great basketball game Live cannot even compete, the LeBron mode is fun to play as well.

Best game ever! You are in control of your team's destination from a single game through an entire season. The commentator puts you in the middle of all the action with play by play announcement and up to the minute head lines on what is happening around the league.

This game was so sick! 2K did an awesome job with it!

Man this game is awesome, the graphics are unbelievable and was a great value. I have played many basketball games but this one is better that all the rest, they seem to get better every year.

All the modes of the gae are great. The characters move naturally and fluidly. The my player and the path to greatness modes are great as well. It's easy to connect to other players online and play in tournaments to test your skills against others. Again the only thing bad about the game is that it's online connected. If the servers for 2k goes down (and it has) you are locked out from upgrading your stats in my player or earning vc. Also the game relies to heavily on vc and takes away from the focus of the game and that's good gameplay.

This game is awesome. Great graphics and varying levels of difficulty for more or less experienced players.

This was purchased for our kid who has been hooked to the game and loves the graphics and audio. Highly recommended if you can get a good deal on it.

It's been 2 years since I bought the last iteration of this series. And so far even though I have struggled in the games that I have played, I am reminded why I used to play every day. So far I've only done a franchise online, but I think the game has a ton to offer even the casual basketball fan, such as myself. If you are a sports fan, I highly recommend this game. It's a blast, even if it can get a little frustrating at times.

Cool game, updates with current teams and current playerss. Commentary is amazing, how do they record so much material??

The only thing I didn't like was, I never received my $10 gift card for trying to pre order. Everything else was great.
