This game is definitely better than previous 2k game! Every aspect is awesome & new, even down to the controls. Definitely a buy & not a rent if you love basketball games...get this one!

Another great basketball release from 2k. Love this game. My only complaint, and the only reason it didn't get a 5 star from me, is the story by Spike Lee. To sum it up, IT SUCKED. Ruined the begininning to the MyPlayer mode but once you get passed the first season, it's all good. Go out and buy it.

NBA 2K16 is definitely more of the same, which in this case isn't a bad thing. The online servers and gameplay from what I've experienced thus far are drastically improved over 2K15. Physics and passing are much better, as is AI defense. No longer will you be able to constantly run iso plays with LeBron and easily drive by your opponent. They play you much tighter, which is definitely a good thing. The MyCareer is a bit goofy, but luckily you can skip through cutscenes and the story aspect of it only lasts about 2/3 hours before reverting back to the more traditional mycareer. Overall, this is the quintessential basketball game to own.

Good graphics, good offenses and defenses. Only complaint is game makes the bad teams REALLY bad (missing layups, etc) while the good teams rarely miss contested 3 pointers!

Really liked the career mode, even though the decisions are free for you to make. Gameplay is solid, defense is much better. Plently of options to tune the gameplay

It's NBA 2k which mean it's the best basketball game out. The shooting takes a little while to get use to, but once you get that down, you will enjoy the game

This game is addicting. First reason. My career mode. You want to level up your character so you can dominate players online. Be like steph curry and put all your points towards shooting or put all your points and become that low post threat. The choice is yours. Second reason is the customizable clothing, shoes, and accessories. There's so many options that you just want to buy them all. Jordans, adidas, bikes.. You name it. But you gotta save that VC. Only cons are the sometimes laggy online game play and the insanely low amounts of VC that you earn. You have to put in so many hours to be able to save enough VC to even buy anything. Of course you can always spend real money but who wants to shell out more money than they already paid for the game Overall it's what you would expect from a 2k game. I just wish they would fix the laggy online game play and loading times.

The game is great. High quality graphics, fun to play, the MyCareer story line adds some dynamics to the mode, and overall, a great game. Very impressed.

Best game forever, NBA 2K16 has the best career mode we have seen so far in any sports game. It lets you create and customise your own avatar, who starts out as a high school basketball hero. Directed by Spike Lee (Malcolm X, Oldboy) the NBA2k16’s ‘Livin’ Da Dream’ narrative provides a heartwarming story of a young man making his way into the NBA hall of fame. As you win matches and earn reputation on the streets through a number of backyard ball games, league managers start noticing you and eventually offer a chance to play with the big boys in NBA.

This years edition of 2k is hands down the best this game has been in a while. Defense is better and play calling is a whole lot simpler.

Prior to NBA 2K16 coming out, I thought 2K15 was a near-perfect basketball sim, and that 2K would have a very hard time improving on last year's version enough to warrant purchasing a replacement to such a great game. 2K proved me wrong by vastly improving on last year's model, and making a near-perfect game franchise a few steps closer to perfection. Graphics are superb, gameplay is spot-on, and there are enough modes to satisfy everyone. The MyCareer mode can be a little corny at times, but it is definitely worth playing.

Overall a good game. I personally only play for the MyCareer so I don't do much online. Knock off a star for the Be The Story....it was...pretty rigid and linear. A waste of time really but meh. It is still a good game.

Every year NBA 2k basketball gets better. This year it leaped out of the building. Def better gameplay more realistic.

This game is a great step up from NBA 2k15, but still retains the great gameplay the series is known for. The players have a lot more weight to them this year it seems which makes the game play much more realistically. I have not ventured into the new MyCareer mode yet, but am anxiously looking forward to diving in with the new emphasis on story and the ability to play with college teams (even though there is only ten to choose from)!

If you like the NBA, you are not going to be disappointed by this years version of NBA 2k. It has so many features that even if you don't like some things, you will be able to enjoy other aspects. MyGM and MyPlayer are two of the most changed features from last year. The defense and the offense in each team have been improved, as well as the graphics. One of the best video games in general or the new generation of consoles

Great story mode in the my career. The graphics is great and the controls is better than ever.

This is one of the funniest basketball games I have played. My Career is super addicting.

This 2k game feels more realistic than the last. Shooting has become more difficult in a good way. I believe the whole set of fouls is much more comparable to real life. Running the offense is a bit harder than last year. The defenses have been tweaked so you can't just iso a player every play and go to the rim. The game requires you to learn more about basketball and how to beat dynamic defenses.

Honestly, I was expecting a minor update like NBA 2K14, and NBA 2K15. To me it seemed as if Visual Concepts had decided to rest on its accolades and laurels. However, that is not the case with NBA 2K16. The game play has improved in every area. Adding Greg Anthony and Kenny Smith to the presentation helps immensely. It does NOT get an better than this. This is easily the sports game of the year!
