I have enjoyed 2k now for the last 4 years. This one is no different. Each year they improve the graphics and now that nba live is back in the mix I expect more of the improvements. I have never played online much but have enjoyed this feature more this year. The mycareer has been enjoyable but earning VC is the name of the game. Those that play know that VC is everything and the game really focuses on pay to play. This is why I went with the legend version to get a head start on VC. It has helped keep my VC in line!

2k doesn't change much from year to year, I like the career mode in the version better than others it seemed to be more tailored to how you play. The new shot meter position is a little weird but you get used to it, it takes practice to get down the timing.

2K17 was great but 2K18 goes to another level with details for players, shoe replicas, the Neighborhood and MyCareer. I greatly enjoy this 2K. High Replay Vlaue!

It’s fun, just the GTA style walking to get from place to place is annoying and the fact that you can only change clothes in My Court nos instead of anywhere in the park. Other than that it is fun to play

By far the best 2K to date! The online play is amazing along with the career mode.

My 11 year old son loves this game even though it is difficult when you create your own character unless you purchase the virtual currency. He likes to grind for the stat points so it didn't bother him that his character was horrible at first. He likes the new open area that lets you buy shoes, get a hair cut, and play pick up games. 2K sports has come a long way with their sports games.

2k is a great game. Online is a lot better and career mode is good

Most people are familiar with the downfall of NBA Live. EA made the mistake of relying on the NBA license to sell the game while NBA 2K improved significantly each year. About 2 years ago, they were forced to stop making NBA Live after a substandard product was released. This game however is a major improvement. The pick up and play ability is higher in this game than it is in (the overly complicated) NBA 2K series. Not worth 60, but at 25 with GCU, it's well worth the price.

My kid is 15 and has been playing the last 2-3 2k's. Loves it. Plays online every night with his friends. I used to play NBA 2k when Dreamcast 1st came out up until about 2k3/2k4. Came has advanced a lot since then. Wish NFL 2k was still made - live the realism of these games compared to EA's arcade junk.

Lots of different ways to play. Feels realistic wants you build your player up.

When I bought the game for my son I was completely shocked at the price. It maybe an expensive game but after seeing the look on My 12 yr old son’s face while he was playing it the prince was definitely worth it my son absolutely loves NBA 2K18.

Nba 2k18 continues the trend of great basketball gaming. Graphics are improved, new court designs, logos and jerseys are fantastic and the gameplay continues to be topnotch! Highly recommended for 2k fans!

This game is better than last year's version and one of the best 2k basketball games to date. I play this every time I have some free time to do so. Love playing with my roommates and friends too

My career mode is amazing in 2K sports latest Basketball release . This game is stacked with features. Love the face scan phone app to add your face to your MyCareer Player! Ballin!

Honestly, it gets better every year. I am not sure how they can continue to top the previous edition but 2K always does. Buy this game and buy if from Best Buy!

As a parent, I love getting these games for my son. It keeps him motivated to stay involved in basketball and has turned him into a lover of the NBA. I find that part to be really great and it reminds me of being a kid. Does he love playing 2k18 as much as I loved playing Bird vs Dr J or Double Dribble? Probably not. Why? Because this game is financially intense. Micro transactions have knocked the fun of the grind right out of the box. Listen, I don't mind the grind. In fact, I think that's what makes a game special. Working hard for what you have. But this game promotes paying for what you have. As a parent, it sucks to pay $100 for the best version of the game, then have your kid staring at you hoping you will buy them virtual currency. Plus, once you buy it, its gone in moments and they are right back where they were a few minutes prior, wanting more. More currency for their player to be better. It doesn't end. Sure they can grind it out. But that takes just long enough to almost justify just paying for it. A parent can easily be in this game 200-300 dollars before the season is over. Then guess what? It's time for 2k19. Hopefully one day they do whats right, and just make the game FTP just like mobile versions of NBA games. Then you can justify spending the money on virtual currency to get players or update your roster etc. Otherwise, Parents! Get ready to spend money, have a bummed out kid, or a kid who pays this for hundreds of hours to earn what $$$ can just buy.

Look no further then NBA 2K18. This is by far the best basketball game available for the PS4. The depth of the game is amazing and so much fun.

2K has built a world in which you can immerse yourself into with lots of different activities to do. Great overall game, just prepare to grind.

This game is the best one out. So many options to play. Coaching, playing, general managing gives you all the aspects of true game play.
