NBA 2K25 on Xbox Series X is hands-down the most immersive and polished basketball simulation to date. From the moment I launched the game, I was blown away by the stunning visuals, lifelike animations, and incredibly detailed player models. The gameplay feels smoother than ever, with responsive controls and improved AI that make every match feel authentic and competitive.
MyCAREER mode is better than ever, with a compelling storyline and an expanded city that feels alive. The depth of customization and progression keeps me hooked. MyTEAM also returns with exciting new challenges and better pack odds that make team-building a lot more fun and rewarding.
What really stands out is how well the game leverages the power of Xbox Series X — load times are nearly non-existent, graphics are crystal clear, and the 60fps performance is rock solid. The crowd energy, commentary, and arena atmosphere are so realistic, it truly feels like you're part of the game.
If you're a basketball fan or even just love sports games, NBA 2K25 is a must-buy.

I like playing dynasty mode so very great for that. Also great are the graphics and gameplay. Many customization options available for dynasty mode, teams and players. Cannot comment regarding other options like online or micro-transactions since do not use.

This game is now strictly for online players and people obsesses with their build. Shooting is ridiculous with 6 different settings! Like what happened to the old school 2k that was actually fun. I’m 37 and I’ve played literally every single one and I’ve seen this series fall from grace. I play primarily offline and your ai teammates mine as well be bozos.. the cpu warps on to you still, slows you down during the fast break, the game just isn’t fun for me.

Not so sure if there are many updates since 2K24, but I get it every year just to get updated rosters. $29 was the best deal I found so far along with $5 reward certificate.

Bought for my dad for Christmas and he absolutely loves it. I couldn’t imagine paying full price for it, I was able to get it for $30 for the Black Friday sale. Worth it!

It's pretty good overall, but I don't like that parts of the single-player campaign are locked behind having an online subscription. You can play around them but it's a nuisance and I wish they just built a mode for fully single-player.
