I was Stuck Between NBA Live and NBA 2K9. But ater my Decision was made i new i made the right choice. This Game has a great crowd, Amazing Graphics, and Accurate shot styles. One Annoying feature is that you almost never miss but just set the diffuclty level higher and you will be fine. Franchise mode is very good and NBA Blacktop is a ton of fun. Amazing Game.

2K continues to dominate the basketball sim world with its latest edition NBA 2K9. The game manages to exceed the acheivements of its predecessors in the areas of gameplay, fluid response, cut scenes, replays, highlights, and motion capture. It just feels so real when you play it. The live roster updates are a nice touch and will even update the players skills based on season performance. The crowd is even better this year. The grapihics on player models are better than past games by far, but are still hit or miss on some players and coaches. The edges are still kind of rough, and VC has still not fixed the issue of 1080p with out tricking your PS3. Other than that there is not a better basketball sim out there

I'm not sure exactly what that person who said 1 player meant, but I play my cousin on a regular basis, so this is definitely a multiplayer game. I love the graphics and just recently I've learned how to expand my gameplay. I have Vince Carter on my Association team and this game is so realistic I've caught 3 real Carter dunks. He's put his arm in the rim a couple of times. And any real basketball fan knows that's a Carter signature. If you don't like this game it's because you don't like basketball. The difficulty is great for all gamers, the graphics show you why playstation 3 is superior to the rest, the crowd, crowd noise, dance team/cheerleaders, and even the guy who sweeps the floor look real. And to top it all off, I've owned many basketball games being it NBA Live or NBA 2k's, but none have actually taken the time to detail each individual player on the bench. When you look at the Cav's bench, you can immediately tell which player is Lebron, all the way down to Daniel Gibson and Wally Sczerbiak. This game is ridiculously addicting because the game play makes you feel like you're really there. Oh and like any other game for the PS3, if you're playing it on a tube tv the graphics aren't going to be what they should, get an LCD or plasma, you feel the difference in your blood. Buy This Game.

This game has allways had great graphics but the players just don't flow as well as the players in NBA Live. The shot selection is not that great.For example a shooter in 2K can take a set shoot,fade away or lean in.In Live he can set shot,lean in, fade away,fade left or fade right to avoid his shot getting blocked. Most people fill this is the best basketball game.Well it has a lot of other stuff going but as 4 flat out in game play it's not the best it's number 2 and Live would be my first choice.2k is just to stiff for me.

This is a great game. The grphics and realism is amazing. The palyers also show a lot of emotion based on how you are doing.

the graphics for this game is incredible. im a huge fan of the basketball games for the ps3 because the gameplay is just so realistic and fun. its hard to put the controller down after playing this game. this is a must buy for fans and basketball fans alike.

basketball is back in my videogame collection and i have been in love with this game ever since i played it in the store. great game and a must have!!! i cant say it enough, GREAT GAME 2K9.

NBA 2K9, Is a great game it is vary Smooth and fun to play (OFF line) online play has been horrible It is vary laggy,slow loading,and their is many bugs. All and all it seem like a unfinished game with blurrly Graphics at times like midcourt logos,and uniforms. I am vary suprized at how many things seem unfinished in this game. But it is all together a improvement from 2K8.

The graphics are sooo good. Even the people in the stand look like the real thing. Player faces and mannerisms are captured to a "T" gameplay isn't too arcady, it's just right.

This game is a big improvement from 2k8, everything is right now, buy this game NOW!

I got this game on Christmas and I was in the basement playing it then my mom walked down and looked at the screen and after a while she said that she thought i was watching a real NBA game on t.v.

watever happened to 2 player games, seriously,basketball game 1 player, this is stupid wat happened 2 playing ur buddy at your house,now you have 2 pay MORE money so u can have a online set up

This is dumb, since when have you heard a 1 player basketball game. What if you want to play a friend. It gets pretty boring after playing the computer like a thousand times.
