Great Game With Flaws
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.NBA Live plays great and is a lot more free flowing than NBA 2k15. If you feel 2K is driven by animations too much you should love the feel of live. They still need to patch gameplay, and the game has serious issues: 1: No sliders 2: Driving the lane is too easy 3: No mid range game 4: AI is really bad in late game situations 5: Dynasty mode isn't too deep 6: no face scan Most of these issues will be fixed with another patch soon. So I expect it to be well worth keeping and playing once they fix many of these issues. And Live 16 might finally be the year they overtake 2K. 2K can't do too much to change gameplay. In reality it is so stiff and slow and unrealistic in that way. Live plays a bit more like real basketball, they just need to add a lot more animations and work on their minor issues, and also add customization and better game modes.

Why does this exist

Not even 2 years of development time could save this title from being such an utter disappointment. NBA fans should do themselves a favor and just go with the 2k series until further notice.
