This game has many pros, its lots of fun, and it's pretty realistic, however there are some major flaws holding it back. Lemme first mention the holding calls. There are so many holding calls. In a clutch situation this could work to your advantage, but overall it's just incredibly irritating... Up next, the invisible magnets that attract the players together. When you control an offensive lineman, and you beat the man covering you, and you have a straight line to sack the opposing quarterback, it almost seems as if there is a magnet between players that draws them together. 9 times out of 10 the guy will go out of his way to get past another player. Next, related to the previous 2 problems, when youre an offensive lineman, and you are trying to get past another, it seems as if they are glued together. Of course there is no holding call and the quarterback gets his pass off. Those are the only real problems with the game, and if it seems like alot, trust me, it isnt when you compare it to the pros of the game. My favorite thing about this game is the Campus Legend mode. You create a little character, send him to summer camp, add little points to his ratings (to make him better, obviously). After that, a bunch of different schools offer you scholarships, you pick your major, study, practice, and have games. It's tons of fun. But the best part is, after your Junior year you are elligible for the Pro draft, if you're good enough and get drafted your player gets exported to your memory card, and if you have Madden 08 you can put your college guy into the NFL. Another great thing about this game is the online playing, that's always fun. Overall the game is great, if youre looking at it, I'd go ahead and get it.

If you've played any other game in the NCAA Football series, then you know what this game is all about. This edition of the franchise uses the same tried-and-true formula, which is both a good and a bad thing. For one thing, you know that you're going to get fun, deep gameplay that really delivers on the greatness of college football. However, you also know exactly what you're going to get, with very little changes made. The gameplay is pretty good, as some mechanics have been improved. You can finally block kicks and extra points now! However, the game looks the same as the past three games have (but granted this isn't really their fault; I mean, is there anything left to get out of the PS2?). Also, once you get good enough, the game becomes laughably easy. I know this sounds like I don't really like this game, but it is a quality football game that's easy to recommend. It's not the best of the series (I still think that '04 holds that title), but if you're a football fan, you'll love this game, pure and simple.

I like NCAA Football 08, awesome college football game ever, better than NCAA Football 07, best trick plays, and gang tackle is the best

This is a solid game. It is similar to the 2007 version. I like the defensive hot routes. I don't really like that you have to either be a player or a head coach just to play a season. There are WAY too many things you have to do before you even play a snap for the season. Game reality is taken to a new level in this game because you have to take tests and keep a GPA to remain eligible. If I wanted to take tests I would go to class instead of playing this game.

The game presentation for PS2 was solid. Not many changes from 2007. Was happy with the game until I found a glitch that would allow you to run the same play over and over resulting in consistant long runs and touchdowns at the Heisman level. Agaist the AI defensive players wil overreact to the counter play and leave it open for long gain after long gain. I score 154 points against the computer on the highest setting. BORING! Fix the glitch EA Sports!!!

A great game! I think it feels like you are actually in college! I am a Nebraska Corn Husker fan. I love how you can create your own character and be what ever position you want to be. What a game! Wow! I can't wait for NCAA 09! (I think it is coming out July 15th 2008!)

A great buy, with enough improvements over last year to warrant a purchase. The passing game has definitely been redefined, with you being able to direct the receiver/running back to change his route in the middle of a play!

This is the best version of NCAA Football yet! I own this and Madden08. I would choose this, NCAA, over Madden any day. The gameplay is alot funner than Madden08 is. There are a significant amount of more features in NCAA08. First off, the action replays put Madden to shame. Second, you gotta love the lateral ability in NCAA, come on. I highly recommend this game to any football fanatic or to any sport fan at that!

Its pretty sweet. It has nice graphics for ps2. There is an addicting and fun mascot mode that i love. I would buy it.

This is a great game. Would highly recommend. Keeps you on your toes. Fast and action packed games.

This game is the best sports game i have ever purchased. You will love Campus Legend mode i promise. The only thing i dont like is some of the majors in Campus Legend mode are a little to hard. Also in campus legend mode you have to have your GPA over 2.0 to play which sometimes gets a little annoying. Other than that those are the only cons. GO HORNS!

Its a lot of fun to play, as good as madden 08. The graphics are defiantly good for ps2.

If you barely hit the QB they call it even when i set it to be 0% I dont get it still overall a descent game cant wait till the next one comes out.

Great game I buy the new ncaa game every year to get the up to date version. This game is just as good as the last 5 years. Every year the graphics just get better and betteer.

The graphics in this game are good but that doesn't make up for how boring it is, sure it says there are lots of features but those get way stupid after a while, I wouldn'r reccomend this to anyone.

This is probably the 6th or 7th of this series that I own. It stands up well against the previous versions. Currently I am playing the dynasty mode.
