NCIS New Orleans is a really good spinoff from the original NCIS. The team of actors work well together and the story lines are believable and up to date.

I like the actor Scott Bakula ever since Quantam Leap so I tend to check out his other shows. That said, there is a lot to like about this edition of NCIS in that there is a tie in with Jethro Gibbs character from the original show that meshes in nicely and establishes this show as a worthy edition right off the bat. I like the fact they take pains to show off some of New Orleans during the show and its crime scenes, it makes it almost like a Travel Guide.

If you like NCIS then you'll like this. If you want to see the wonderful city of New Orleans than you'll like this. If you want a show that features a talented, multi ethnic cast then this is perfect for you. It really will work for any person and this DVD comes with a computer version as well.

I think that "NCIS: New Orleans - The First Season" was one of the greatest new series of all-time and it also quickly became one of my favorite new series of all-time. I really enjoyed all of the action, mystery, suspense and drama that kept this series very entertaining and enjoyable. I also think that NCIS: New Orleans" has a really great and amazing cast, plots and personal/political/military storylines.

This is a new NCIS, with Scott Bakula (always pleasant). He conveys leadership without being bossy. The characters are all new, nothing from another NCIS. Scott's first assistant is a REAL actor, he seems southern, and wasn't he the kid in the "SwingBlade" movie? The other agent is a little 'hot dog' boasting over-achiever but the tech guy, the Medical Examiner, and the 2 I mentioned make it interesting enough. And New Orleans is a good background, it's unique, and it's NOT L.A. nor New York, thank goodness! Good way to spend an hour.

We missed the first season on air and really enjoy the show. Saw this when browsing the store one day and the price was good so we took it home and have really been enjoying catching up on the episodes we missed. Don't even have to put the discs in, just pull up VUDU and watch it from there. Great show!

Another member of the excellent NCIS family, with the added benefit of all the sights and sounds of New Orleans. The all-around enjoyable cast is enhanced with the best Scott Bakula role since Enterprise, and the delightful but under-utilized CCH Pounder.

I got an email that this DVD was on sale. I went online to purchase this DVD for a Christmas gift to my daughter that loves this show.. She is watching the second season on TV now and will probably purchase the second season when it comes out on DVD.

NCIS in America's coolest town with awesome characters . . . first season was incredible . . . what else can a person hope for except to watch them all again . . . and again . . . and again . . . while waiting for new episodes to happen each week .

I am a huge fan of the original NCIS, and I feel like NCIS: New Orleans throws a fun flare into the mix. They really seem to care about the city, and the city itself feels like a character. Highly recommended if you like the original NCIS!

I bought the dvd set because it was on sale and I used my Best Buy reward bucks to help buy it I am glad I did as I never watched it when it was on tv it is a really good show will be buying other seasons in the future.

We don't have cable and often miss the TV series broadcasts of any of the NCIS series...the dvd's allow us to watch at our convenience, rewind if we miss something we want to see again then watch it all again whenever we want!!

I loved the original NCIS and NCIS:LA so i thought i would give this one a try as well. I was weary of it at first but once i got through the first bunch of episodes it got much better. The only issue i had with this was that the included digital copy can be difficult to set up the first time but after that it was a breeze. If you like NCIS you should definatly check this one out.

Love NCIS and love NCIS NEW ORLEANS. Since I often work I don't get to watch the series Prime Time, so now I can watch whenever I want. It's great to see the city and to go go back and see subtle hints of future events.

The two reasons I started watching this show was that Scott Bacula and CCH Pounder were in it. These two actors are just amazing. I have watched Bacula since "Quantum Leap" (and "Designing Women") and CCH Pounder from "The Shield" and "Warehouse 13." The show started off kinda slow, feeling its way, but the characters have really developed, and interact well.

Cast feels stiff compared to chemestry that's original NCIS cast has. I admit, that cast has had 13 years to get to where they are but noticeable in this series. Feels more like crime solving like original unlike the spy games NCIS:LA is. I think that makes this series that much better. I do enjoy the cameos the cast from other series makes, feels like one big team.

I really like all the NCIS series. NCIS:LA took a little to get started, but I like it now. NCIS:NOLA, was great from day one. They've got the same chemistry between the actors as the original series does.

I think that we must have watcher the year in a week but it is just great. We did not expect the quality that we found. Scott Bakula is perfect for this series. New Orleans is a fun city to watch on TV/movies.

I really enjoyed purchasing this DVD at such a good price at Best Buy. NCIS New Orleans is a favorite show, and I have wanted to get the DVD of the first season but it was always too expensive! Thanks!
