We hadn't seen these since they premiered on TV 20 yrs ago... Finished first season. And they just keep getting better.

It is fun to see all the various characters interact and play off each other. Of course, it is always fun to know that the bad guys are going to get it in the end, but the attraction of all the "CSI CIS etc" type shows is the joy (albeit somewhat grim an gory at times) to be found in the chase. The only quibble I have is the light-speed lab and test results that return DNA and other data in about 2 micr-seconds. But who wants to watch a show that lasts 2 weeks?
