This vacuum worked like a charm after I purchased it. Shortly thereafter, it stopped cleaning the entire room or returning to its base. Recently, it stopped working altogether. Second Neato in 3 years to bite the dust. I don't believe that these vacuums are ready for prime time unless you plan on sinking money into them every few years.

The Neato Botvac ran well for the first few months. After that, we had to replace the battery and then the Lidar stopped working. We also have two older IRobots. No problems and still running.

Let me pretty face with none of the robotic vacuums are worth the MSRP price. I purchased this from Best Buy very pleased, I had the previous week picked up the roomba 880 from a Nother retailer. The navigation system on this is leaps and bounds ahead of the Irobot and the bin is much larger, and bin full indicator seems much more accurate... However, the Roomba does clean better because it will go over an area over and over again. It's also easier to maneuver because of the remote you can clean as if it was a wireless vacuum. I'll be keeping both but for the price this excellent value!

I like drinking coffee and having some rest while this dude cleaning the house. Sometimes it could stuck on the carpet but this is not critical. It is charging by itself and almost always return to the base. The only thing I have to do is to clean the filter. I love my new Neato

PRODUCT WARNING: I purchased a Neato vac and it started MELTING! Since they claim to have a 12 month warranty I exchanged it (which was a HUGE hassle and they made ME pay shipping) they sent me a REFURBISHED unit which started having issues. When I contacted them I was told there is only a 3 MONTH WARRANTY on refurbished units!!!!!! Essentially because there was manufacture defaults to begin with they now took a year warranty to 3 months by sending me another broken product and refusing to replace it. Do yourself a favor and do not purchase from Neato!

Hi Patrick, from the photos you sent to our support team, it appears your brush became disfigured from lack of cleaning. Your original purchase was outside our 12 month warranty, but we made a special exception for you and sent you a refurbished unit. It appears that the brush was also never cleaned on this unit, which resulted in the same problem. Our robots do require regular maintenance, including cleaning the brush regularly. We're sorry you are disappointed.
