Much less expensive than similar Roombas but pack a punch. Great suction and large dirt container. Even works great on a thick pile oriental rug we own. Only downside is that it is very loud - though still quieter than a regular vacuum cleaner. Great value for the buck.

This is the 2nd botvac I have tried and I can't say that I was that impressed. No app for the phone like some other brands have and the screen is extremely small and clumsy to navigate. The bot cleans very well, but has trouble positioning itself when returning to the charge base. Have to constantly check to see if it is charging. You'd think for the price there would be more features. I'd avoid this model.

I can not believe how much hair, dust, and dander this little guy picks up. The bot runs mostly on hardwood in our home but has one por of carpet as well. If it could only climb stairs... Out performs my expectations daily. A must for shedding dog owners.

Easy to operate. Cleans well. Learns it's area & runs easily over carpet, hard surface floors & throw rugs of all thicknesses. Only problem I experienced is the filter. It was shredding when I cleaned it out. My daughter has a botvac & said her filters were 'ultra' type filters & were very easy to clean.

I love everything about it. It really cleans well!!! The only draw back is it picks up so much dust, etc. that you have to change the filter about every 10 days. The cost of the filters is $20 for a pack of 3. This cost is worth it because my floors stay clean.

Fantastic product. I have two hairy indoor dogs that shed constantly. Neato does a superb job of vacuuming up hair and dust bunnies. I was amazed at the job this robotic vacuum does. Easy to program and relatively quiet for a vacuum. Does an excellent job getting into corners and hard to reach areas.Would definitely recommend. This robotic vacuum has made my life so much easier...... no longer dread vacuuming day!

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my sister. As stated above, I think I got a defective one. It sweep three rooms but not completely as it kept going over the same area's repeatedly. It never went back to its home to be recharged. It had to be carried back. I had read the reviews before I bought so was very disappointed in it. I did not replace it as my brother-in-law said his house was probably too big for it even if it had worked properly.

Seems to clean better than Roomba 560. The vacuum motor takes 3-4 seconds to come up to speed, which means the motor maybe smaller than Roomba, however, it must use some sort of flywheel to retain motor speed during operation. I feel it has better suction with smaller motor with the aid of flywheel. The main reason I got this is because the Roomba scuffs up walls. This unit still rubs up against wall but not as hard and much less occasion. So far is not scuffing wall. Major difference is this unit is much "smarter" than the Roombas.

This little guy is set to clean Monday to Friday at 9am. For the most part when I come home it has returned to the charger and ready to go again. About once a week I will find it in a hallway telling me to clear its path. I simply move it a foot and press the start button. Great purchase. It does not bother my dog. It cleans hardwood and rugs without a problem. It will eat socks that the dog will drag around causing a clean my brush error. Remove the sock and press start.

Of course after the maid in the jetsons... Loving the neato so far! The D80 represents a solid vacuum with great mapping technology. Occasionally she gets stuck, but we're working out the kinks and problem spots. For the most part even in a complicated area, she works her way through, although I think she gets confused on the dining room table. She does a great job cleaning, picking up tons of fur and dust. We had such a problem making time to vacuum our floors and she's made all the difference. I liked her so much I bought her a sister we've named Alice (after another 1970's show) who takes care of the 2nd floor. These are a big investment, but a HUGE time saver!

I am a former Roomba owner and not sure I would ever go back. The best thing about the Neato is that it actually maps out the room, so it is way more efficient. It actually goes all the way around the perimeter of the room first and then goes back and forth in straight lines. It never has any issues returning to it's base either, even when it finishes cleaning in the other end of the house. My Roomba was so random and would just go wherever, even over spots it already went. It had a really hard time finding it's base and I always had to bring it back to it. The Neato is just so much smarter! It doesn't have any issues doing multiple rooms either. I'd say they both do the same as far as picking up dirt, it's just the Neato does it in a fraction of the time.

I wish I would have gotten this years ago. Now if I could get it to dust and do windows, it would be perfect. Does a great job. Has a tendency to get stuck sometimes, but I cleaned the sensors and hope that it takes care of the problem.

This vacuum is probably the best vacuum I have owned. Except for the fact that I had to go through three of them to get one that worked right. 1st one the dust bin kept popping up and stopping the vacuum for no reason. 2nd one was lost all the time. 3rd one has been nearly flawless. I've had this one about 1 month. All the replacements were direct from Neato and not Best Buy. The company has been easy to deal with.

As the owner of two German Shedders, I can't say enough about this vacuum. I LOVE it.....just turn it on, and let it go. It cleans way better than my name brand canister vac. The only con I can think of is that it has to be emptied each time, but that's minor!

I had older model of the Neato, It kinda went crazy on us. Stopped in the middle of the room and kept beeping saying I need to remove the obstacle from it's path, had bought geek squad protection plan, so I exchanged it to this model, so far it's doing it's job, which is sucking dirt off the floor.

When it works it works very well. I have one in my living room and one in my master bedroom. With 2 cats and 2 dogs it's nearly impossible to keep the house free of fur, but with the Neato, things are very manageable. It does well with all the obstacles in my house and is able to get to just about every corner of my house. It's easy to clean and the filters are cheap enough online. However, it does occasionally get stuck - often in the same place. With some places we have taped them off with the included magnetic strip but sometimes it just seems to stop for no reason. When that happens I have to take it to home base, reset it and that usually clears up the issue. I also cannot emphasize this enough - get the service plan!!! It works awesome, until it doesn't. I've had to replace my living room unit 2X now. Fortunately BB is AWESOME in their service and it has not been a huge problem besides making the drive to the store. This latest one seems to be OK, but the previous ones just basically stopped working after about 6 months. The unit in the smaller bedroom is solid. I'm hoping it was a couple of flukes, but I will continue to renew the service of case any of these die again. In short - buy it. You'll be glad you did, but GET THE SERVICE PLAN - just in case.

Great vacuum, but it constantly gets itself stuck under dinning chairs. I flip the chairs on the table, but it's not quite the set and forget experience.

I have always wanted one of these for my mother because she has 3 dogs. This model claims to be the best for dog hair. We run it every night on a set timer and it cleans the down stairs fairly well. It can scan objects that are infront of it before it starts moving, which is nice compared to a roomba. The brush comes out for easy cleaning as well as the bin. Some of the down sides are that it cannot get a deep cleaning on medium to thick carpets for dog hairs. Another would be that the floor has to be clutter free to avoid damage, (like cords, cables, loose rug strings, dog toys, etc. as seen across all brands alike). Finally, the little brush that spins on the outside to sweep up debris along baseboards, comes off for cleaning but after one week, it came off during a home cleaning and we could not find it. So we had to buy a replacement. All in all, we do like this product, just make sure you read the directions and don't leave anything on the floor, when you set it to clean, that could damage it.

I love this little robovac, it does a great job, pet dander and all and it is fun to watch. Only negative is that it is noisey but well worth it. Program it to clean while you are gone, no issue. Does a great job on all surfaces, hardwood, carpet and tile. Very happy with this Neato vac.

I tried the roomba first and it was absolute junk. It just bounced all over, doesnt move into other rooms without buying more equipment etc. The Neato uses a lidar laser to map out the floor and objects. It doesnt bump into things, it navigates around them and cleans around table legs and under couches. It travels in nice straight lines back and forth. It navigates from room to room on its own and when the charge gets low, it recharges itself and then resumes where it left off. You have to spend almost $1,000 to get this feature in the roomba. You can set the Neato to run on a schedule and since it will resume cleaning there is no need for any type of "connected" features. I have recommended this product to everyone I know and even talked a few people browsing in the store to buy one. Don't spend $500 though, best buy will put it on sale or price match others. I paid $349 and added the 4 year warranty.
