Works great for simple setups, and when you don't have time or do not want to spend time cleaning

Wish I had this years ago. I replaced a iRobot with this and am much happier. This thing has no problem finding its way around the house, does a great job picking up cat hair and is more affordable. I use this one on wood floor and another on the carpeted rooms. Love them so far.

The vacuum actually works a lot better than I expected. It is pretty thorough as long as you don't have a lot of obstacles. It really does an awesome job for a robot. I have one long-hair and one short-hair dog so my house needs to be vacuumed everyday and the neato does a good job of getting everything. My only complaint is it can't climb the stairs and vacuum the upstairs as well :) Just be sure that there aren't any pet accidents or water on the floor while its running. I was very surprised at its effectiveness.

This does s great job. About 1/2 way through the lower level it has to go recharge, then comes out to finish

I was a little skeptical that this vac would work with our 3 cats and 1 dog, but each day it travels the whole house and picks up all the hair and dirt with aplomb! It's also fun to watch! Highly recommended!

Neato has done everything as advertised. We are amazed at how well it maps out a room and never misses a spot with no repetitive moves. When the battery gets low it goes back home recharges the resumes cleaning with no problems. And best of all it cleans better then our old vacuum we pushed around. Empting the Neato is easy and amazed at how much it can hold.

1) Does a nice job finding its way around thanks to the laser mapping technology 2) Gentle on furniture - it bumps lightly and remembers the obstacle so it (usually) only bumps once 3) Very good at picking up pet hair and dirt 4) Works well going across different surfaces (hard wood to rugs) 5) Is relatively quiet (everyone says the old Neato was very noisy but this is not at all bad although I am not sure I would run it in the middle of the night since it is, after all, a vacuum)

I just love my new Neato D80 botvac. It is so great to come home to freshly vacuumed carpets! And I have to giggle when I’m lying on my couch and I can hear it vacuuming in the next room.

It's much faster compared to other available options. Cleans wooden floors properly 95% of the times. Yet to try on my heavy carpet. It's loud compared to other options. Would be happier if cleaning filter was easier, app access available and less loud.

I bought this for my family since we have 2 kids and 2 dogs. I keeps up with the messes that occur on a daily basis. Schedule the Neato to run when you are out of the house or when you're home. Does my main floor which consists of a mainly open floor plan but also has 2 hallways and another slightly closed off room. Does the whole floor in about an hour. My wife wad just disappointed that we waited so long to buy a robotic vacuum.

Only wish the dirt compartment was larger and battery lasted long enough to clean the whole house. I love it though! Can't imagine how dirty the floors would be since I have all hardwoods...and 2 little boys! It really picks up the dirt!!

Great for the lazy, set it up, come to a clean home after work! Worth every penny.

I previously owned the Neato XV-11 edition, which is a great start to the series, but this robot is so much better. The robot is able to get every area within the house without any issues and pick up tons of dirt trapped in the carpets. Everytime I empty the dust bin, I realized just how much dirt there really is. The robot is very smart and does not get stuck. I like that it does a zig zag pattern which covers off on the entire area without missing a place. Overal, great purchase and highly recommended.

Great for daily carpet , tile and floor cleaning while sleeping

This is my third Neato. I have two cats, wood, tile, and carpet. My Neato does a great job in keeping my floors dust and hair free. I once tested it with my upright to see if it does a good job. The container in my upright was clean. Love it. Only downside is that it does rough up my chair legs and a few areas on my baseboards. Also may get stuck under cabinets. But, still worth it! Oh, I once bought a Roomba, I took it back after the first week. Neato makes those fresh lines in your carpets! Roombas go all over in no pattern at all. So I felt it missed a bunch.

Does a great job of navigating rooms and cleaning thoroughly but it gets stuck on thin rugs and rugs with tassels. The magnetic boundary strip does not work, it is almost completely ignored. I also had a brush fail in the first 3 weeks and had to order a new one.

We love our "robi". He picks up our dog's hair better than our full sized vacuum. Use him every day in dog areas.
