Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Thing ultimate Macready(out post 31) from Neca Reel toy's.The Thing 1982 directed by John Carpenter is still easily one of my top 5 favorite movies of all time and this action figure to me is almost perfect.Love the changeable head's of 3 different expressions,6 changeable hand's so that he can hold his 12 gauge shotgun, lantern,shot glass of J&B whiskey and the bottle it came in, also a pair of goggles,sun glasses and his fur felt cowboy hat or maybe a 4 dent military hat.only thing that I'm a little sad about is the fact it needs a stand to help it stand(as do many Neca action figures)but it's worth it for the amazing poses you can put it in,love the amazing foil art of the box to, worth every dollar buy it.

Excellent figure options, which seem to stay in place quite well. Detail is not at a Sideshow Collectible level, but for the price it's very good. The beer bottle is a nice touch. :)

The box/packaging is pretty cool too as you can open the front and display it without opening the package.

A Definite Must-Buy for Fans of The Thing

If you missed out on the first version, you can't really go wrong with this one either. Folks worried about the QC can relax too, since NECA seems to have improved.

Very gook likeness of Kurt Russel and a great set of accessories with this package. Best Buy also had the best price too!
