The movie was a lot better than i thought it would be.The documentary covers the traits and tropes of super-villains, and breaks them down into categories such as monsters (e.g., Man-Bat, Clayface), mad scientists (e.g., Luthor, Sivana), overlords (e.g., Zod, Sinestro), femme fatales (e.g., Catwoman, Poison Ivy), and criminal masterminds (e.g., Penguin, Black Mask). There's also sections on henchmen and super-villain teams such as the Rogues, the Legion of Doom, Suicide Squad, and The Secret Society. Even the Guardians of the Universe are depicted as villains. If you love to see the back story of these characters, than it is an absolutely a must.

It is the best to give to give you the best & well known villian match up verse the heroes that stop them. It also included not the well known villains but there best known match ups of them. I think it is a great summery of DC biggest villians & some smaller villians that give a big match up to DC's biggest heroes.

DC Comics has quite the legacy of heroes and villains. No matter how intriguing the hero is (Batman), the counterpart may as well always steal the show (Joker). The characters are co-dependent, especially in terms of story structure. This doc showcases the edgy and open world of the DCU and its characters. Also there are some very pleasant surprises in the interview subjects. Recommended

This is a great documentary that looks at all angles of being a villain in the DC universe. It touches on many villains (most well know, but a couple obscure ones) and even goes into what makes a hero different as well as what it takes for a hero to become a villain, and a villain a hero.

This is a very insightful documentary about one of the best aspects of comic books,the baddies.Some good discussions on various aspects of what makes the villains of DC comics great.The only down side is the fract that this could of been a special feature on another DC comic related film.

First off, this is NOT a comic book movie but a documentary style film about the Villians of DV comics. It's an engaging film going deep into the DC depths. Great interviews and very informative. Only downside is the lack of available special features.

This was a great compilation of DC villain character bios and origins. I really enjoyed this disc. If you are a collector of the DC animated movies, this disc is a nice addition to your collection.

MY SON IS CRAZY ABOUT BATMAN, JOKER, ETC AND I FOUND THIS MOVIE AT BEST BUY. I BOUGHT IT FOR HIS STOCKING AND HAVE PURCHASED MANY OTHERS AT BEST BUY WHICH PERTAIN TO THESE CHARACTERS FOR HIM.

This doc gives a nice overview if dc comic villains and what makes them so enduring . If you are interested in comic book mythology check this out.

This was actually a very enjoyable documentary, especially if you like villains. I also recommend everyone read the companion graphic novel.

It was good for the history of the characters......but that's about it. It was meant for hardcore fans and not casual comic followers.

This is a great "documentary" that plays much like a special feature from one of the DC animated movies. But longer. Artists, writers and some minor celebrities commenting on the pantheon of DC bad guys. They cover some past stuff, but also stuff going on in the New 52. Some of this stuff I found too spoilery, as I was planning on picking up the trades. Cheap, and well worth it.

It could be better, it focuses on some villains too much and not enough on other better villains.

I purchased this blu-Ray because I just wanted to know what different experts had to say about villains in the dc universe. I did like the depth that was reached with the joker, my personal favorite super villain. In a nut shell, evil is needed for there to be good, for if there's only good, there is nothing bad to show what good is.

$5 for this blu-ray plus the digital copy which I sold for the cost of the movie. What a deal.

I enjoy documentaries, and I especially if they are documentaries about comic books.

Great insight into comic book villans from one of the oldest comic publishers. It views like a documentary but does not focus on any one specific character. Its more of a documentart on villany itself. A must watch for any die hard comic fan.

A fun and interesting look at DC Comics and villainy. Well worth the watch.
