This game is a cool follow up to the excellent Need For Speed Most Wanted. I really liked the muscle cars like the Dodge Challenger. There were some other cool cars too like the Audi R8 and the Nissan Skyline. The city isn't as easy to memorize as the previous title's cities. I did like the casino section of the city that looked like Las Vegas. The racing is pretty cool though. The drifting is back and there is new racing in canyons.In canyon racing you can't pass the other car but accumulate points for following the other car closely and once that is done then it's your turn to have the other car follow you and the points you accumulated get subtracted as the other car follows you. If you finish the second part of the race with postive points then you have completed the canyon race. This new form of racing makes this a very fun and fresh new form of racing. This is one of my favorite racing games.

I am a big time Need For Speed fan. I love the options that the game gives in general. Customization options have generally been great. Color, body kits, wheels and tires, spoilers, scoops. The car selections tends to be very nice too. Lambo's, Eclipse, BMW, etc. This game got really boring quickly though, very repetitive, and the graphics overall were sub-par compared to similar games in the genre. Online play did offer some replay value, but the game lost support so quickly, it was hard to find opponents. The game is cool, but I would wait for the next installment with some much needed improvements.

This game is a very fun racing game that very much brings up the classic Need For Speed feeling. At first, you may crash into walls over and over, and think "WHY did i buy this game? I've lost 10 races already!" But when you're pulling 360s and ramming cops off the road in a Lamborghini or Dodge Viper, you think "how could someone NOT like this game?!" With such awesome features like Autosculpt, which allows you to customize your car with personal indents on the hood, roof, and even a spoiler that either could scrape other cars as you drive, or be super skinny and fat, it's your decision. There's also Speedbreaker, which slows down time for you to weave through that six-car pileup to take the lead, or simply drift around the cops into a back alley for a photo finish at the end of a race. It gives the game a Fast and The Furious/The Matrix feel to it. This game has a fun "Crew" system as well. You hire people to be on your crew, blockers, drafters, and scouts. The one you choose could make or break the race for you. Some excel in sprints, some dominate the circuit, and others destroy the speed traps. This game is one i will be keeping and replaying for a long time, and i suggest you buy.

this game is very good, I only bought it cause i had dough and just wanted a game, wow a great buy and online is pretty good as well. If yout like go anywhere street action this is for you. The only thing is that they cheated in the cut scenes buy painting the faces of the actors to make thm look cgi but still well done. Good game.

Well campagin is ok online is fine but the realism is so bad going from 0-60 in less then 1sec so stupid. The driving is so bad on turns and other. just do not recomend it

this game looks like it should have been on the ps2 and never came out for the ps3 the graphics are ok has an alright storyline but they could have done a whole lot better with this game im a big fan of the need for speed games also this game dissapointed me

Need for Speed Carbon was to be a great game, well, for me at least, and it disappointed me deeply. The new features in the game are for the most part not needed, and the cops? Barely any...... Hmph....... When's the new one coming out?

i thought this game was a steal at 20 $, but i was wrong. this was a waste of money. the story is typical, your a driver trying to be the best in the city. there is no traffic in this city, no people in the streets and the city is ALWAYS dark. this is one of the worst racing games i have ever played. if you want a great racing game, get midnight club los angeles. midnight club is 3 times better than this, better city, better gameplay, everything is better in midnight club l.a.

Well I'm please to say that this is another great game from EA. There are many races that you do and the goal is to own then entire city. The only problem with the game I have is it being at night all the time. If you have lots of light in the room, you wont be able to see the tv from all the glares. There is plenty of customization for the vehicles. The graffics are great. My favorite part is getting chased by the cops and trying to evade.

Ok, .. the actual racing in the game is relatively fun (but no more fun than any of the previous NFS games.) However, the graphics were not impressive at ALL for a PS3 game. I haven't looked this one up, but based on what I see in the game, ... it appears it might be a direct "port" from the PS2 version of the game. All in all, ... A waist of money (Even at $30, which I think is what I paid for it.)

The graphics rock. Not a game you will win over night but great fun if you are patient. Great things come to those who wait.

Ive played better Need for Speed games. I think they rused to get this game out.

This game was one of the biggest wastes of money that i have ever had. At first i was enthusiastic, i mean i have always loved the NFS series, but shortly into the game it hit me- this game was about as entertaining as an afternoon with out-of-town-relatives from a tiny town that you can't remember the name of. After beating the game, ending=lame (won't spoil it in case u actually have it and care), i had hoped that it would have some replay value as you could chose a class of cars that changed the options of cars in the game- NOOOOOOOOOOOO, i say this because i spent countless, mindless hours on boring sunday afternoons attempting to play it over and enjoy myself, to no effect, and i hope that if u have not bought it, i beg, don't make my mistake, save your money and buy a decent game like Oblivion GOYTE, but that's another show!

bought because it was cheap, but turns out it was not even worth it. The game story was super lame and the dialouge was even worse. the graphics were awesome and the driving was fun until it got repetitive. Overall this game is no good, don't waste your time or money with this one

I like this title more than Gran turismo series. This concept is fun... you can customize your car and run with another guys who can help you. i finished resistance, and this game is more addictive you want to run all the challenge to achieve more things. If you like the race games you must have it.

i dont know why other people are saying this game is no good its a great game and for the price its selling out now is really good i would buy it if thats all i could afford at the time its alot of fun and i like the customization

Wait until Gran Turismo comes out in '08. NFS: Carbon is very glitchy and the gameplay is repetitive. There should be way more cars to choose from. I expect the same from NFS: Prostreet.

this game is really fun. when u beat the game u get 5 new cars.. the fastest car in the game is the corvette.. optimize the performance and the thing reaches top speed before the car racing reaches 60

this game is tons of fun and the cars look real than ever. if you are a fan of the need for speed series then i would recommend buying it.
