I recently tested this game out ( plan to get it soon ) & it was very fun! The cars are great & the graphics are excellent! The game is also challenging. I love a good challenge. :P NFS has really done a good job with this game. I understand it is not compatible with steering wheels, but luckily, I use a remote.

Graphics, sound & gameplay is very good This game is very fun online with your friends. If you want to play the single player game, it is pretty good, but it gets old pretty fast. The best part is the online play!

I got this game when it was only $35 on black Friday and brought it home right away. i was amazed by the graphics and the funky songs that you really wouldn't expect in a racing game. the auto log is fun because it keeps you in the game trying to beat your friends records and you also meet new people that play. The story is really easy and short and the trophies are too easy to get. The down side to this game is that id doesn't have online free roam and ranked racing but it will hopefully be added in like the other add-ons. overall this is a fun, addicting game

Need For Speed has finally returned to what has made it the a front-runner in the racing genre...and that's the high speed chases with those relentless police. Speed and a few new gadgets(only in certain races) are at your disposal to put distance between you and the other racers/cops. Driving recklessly; near misses, driving on the wrong side of the road, takedows(cop/driver), keep the Nos meter filled so you can keep that lead...ala Burnout. Now if being the lawless speed demon isn't your thing, don't worry you too can be the copper and go bust you some racers(all cop weapons included.) What i really love about NFS though...is the autolog. It's like facebook in a game. With this you can keep up with your friends performance, see what times of your they have beaten and try to take them back, post pictures of your favorite car, and most of all trash talk when you've beaten your friends times. So not only are you trying to finish 1st in every race but take all your friends times while your at it...just adds another level of competion. Bottom line NFS is a great racing title...Fun, speed, runnig from the boys...it gets no better..!!

Hot pursuit is one of the best Need For Speed Games Ever!

So far I recognize this as the best racing game by far after need for speed most wanted(2005). I have read many reviews on whether I should buy the run or hot pursuit, the run being the latest. However, there were better reviews and ratings for HP. I played it and enjoy it very much. If you're searching for a racing game, I recommend you buy this game. Worth the money. And not to forget, i called up best buy to keep the game ready for store pick up and they did the job as said. Good service by best buy san jose.

I want to start off by saying this is a very fun driving game. I've have really been enjoying playing it in the evenings to unwind. I think some serious gamers might find the game a little simplistic and lacking in customization. So far the only car customization I've discovered is changing the car colors, but that's not an option as law enforcement. However I like the simplicity of it. You can choose to be a "speeder" or police. You can work on both "careers" at the same time by selecting the appropriate race. I feel like Mad Max when playing the police. I do wish the game had a playback feature. I haven't tried any of the online features aside from purchasing the Super Sports expansion pack. My biggest complaint is the game is a single player game. The only way to play with more than 1 person is online. I'm very glad I purchased Need for Speed Hot Pursuit.

I love this game. To be able to play as a cop is awesome!!! The cars look, sound, feel great.

Criterion, the studio responsible for the Burnout series, took a swing at the Need for Speed series here and made it all sorts of good. The game isn't a sim, so don't expect Gran Turismo style controls, but it's at the same time a little less arcade-y than Burnout: Paradise was. The real enjoyable part, however, is having an account connected to the internet. If you have your system hooked up, all of your friends best times on the individual tracks will show up on your "Autolog," tracking who's the best and who needs to improve. It's a very stimulating way to play a racing game and always pushes you to be better. Of course, if you don't have an online account (or friends), this is still a top notch racing games from one of the best in the business. The controls are tight, the handling is superb and the abilities you unlock as you go are just awesome (spike strips, road blocks, faster turbo button, etc). Plus, you get to race as the street racers AND the cops in two different set of races.

This is a great game !! Great graphics and cars. Feel way more excited when I play this game versus Shift, much more challenging.

I love this game! It's so much fun! I play it all the time. The cars are fast, the weapons are awesome, and the crashes are epic. Career mode is fun because you can be the cop or racer. They have add-ons (you have to buy them) that have more cars and races. The games picture mode is great too because your car doesn't have to be in the shot. If you are looking for a good racing game, then look no further then Hot Pursuit.

This is a fun game to play when you are bored and want to play some arcade style racing. It's no GT5 though, and if you don't like racing simulation games like GT5, you will probably really like this. Lots of different races, cars you can buy or earn. Overall, they did a great job with the game. It does live up to it's older version well.

Its about time NFS went back to this kind of gameplay. I've been waiting for it forever! You MUST PLAY ONLINE!! This game has one of the best Online interface i have experience. I'm glad to own a PS3 to play online for free!! If you've ever enjoyed a NFS game, you need to buy this one

The creators of Burnout bring this installment of need for speed and its awesome. Overall this game is fantastic. if you love burnout then you wiill love this game.

Not as good as the other Need for Speed but fun. The customation isnt very good but graphics are awesome, its fun, and the difficulty is challenging.

The game itself is pretty fun to play. The graphics and gameplay are fantastic. Playing online with friends makes the game even more fun. You cannot customize cars beyond the color of the paint though. They also have taken out upgrading tuner parts and there is no fine tuning your car so you can't tailor it to specific races or racers. When you are being chased, you have to stick to the route provided. This is a good re-release of the original Hot Pursuit, but it's not as in depth or intense as Most Wanted or Undercover.

Classic NFS with a multitude of different challenges. GREAT graphics. If you like racing games, this one ranks up there
