Great game, but not perfect

There are some difficult tracks as well as easier ones. There is no local multiplay, but the "co-op" mode does allow u to have a young helper while playing. They can do things like change time of day, disrupt cops and toggle traffic. Online is fun, you have a round of 4-7 events. Complete them with the best time/score and up your ranking. My only issue is there doesn't seem to be a pure race online multilayer mode. There are races thrown in, but there are also tasks ie: jump a ramp and land on top of a building, drift for 300 meters, etc. There is music you can play as well as change songs. Would be nice to play your own music. Controls do pretty well with your choice of motion (game pad or wiimote), or traditional controls (gamepad, pro controller, or classic controller). All in all, great graphics, pretty good music and beautiful cars make this a fun game, but it does fall short of perfect.

Large, beautiful environment, for better and worse

It's not for the casual player who will likely get lost in the massive environment and have difficulty navigating the menus. For the hardcore, the speed of the cars is great and they look great new and polished and banged up.

Pre-owned game is like new!

The knowledgeable salesperson offered to look it up online. They had a pre-owned version for only $15. It was sent right to the house. It was a clean disk in a case wrapped in cellophane. Looked and played just like new. Son was very happy!

Great realistic racer for the Wii U

There are tons of cars to choose from, and the hub city you drive around in is a blast. Races are challenging yet fair. The graphics are great, easily the best out of all the console releases. I wish there was local multiplayer, but the Co-Driver mode is a decent substitute. A must for Wii U racing fans!
