A racing game based around grinding. Recommended level, 380. Your level 260. Towards the end of the game (didn't beat, at beginning of the fifth chapter I'm guessing) your cars have to be near max (399), requiring you to grind the previous races like you would run in circles in a 90s era RPG. Story is very much nonsense. You can't buy one car, and change the specs to fit the 5 different types of racing in this game. You'll have to buy a new car for each type of race - of course - requiring you to grind for money or cards. You don't really buy or get parts, you get what are called cards - that are essentially the parts to upgrade your car. Drag racing sucks. NOS is useless as the car makes noise, the camera pulls back and shakes a bit - but your car goes no where. Did you miss that checkpoint - might as well restart the race. The game gives you some loot boxes called "shipments". Some cool one-time use cosmetic items, along with what they're calling tokens and chunks of in game currency. The tokens are used like you would on a slot machine. One roll/pull = 3 tokens. I think I had earned about 100 from the basic shipments, but went through them very quickly trying to complete a set of cards (parts) for my car at the end. You can also trade in the parts you've won for tokens (1:1), but you'll more than likely just sell them for cash. After beating one of the last few racers, I was then faced with having to grind again for another car, and I wasn't going to pay for the real money loot boxes. That's when I gave up. In the end, the way the game is setup is just garbage. Everything negative people are saying about this game is true. Ignore as there are racing games out now that are much better. PASS.
