If you enjoy the Fast and the Furious-style of racing movies, then this is the racing game for you. broadly-drawn characters, predictable plot, rubber-banded AI, all fail to ruin what is actually a highly-enjoyable romp through a cartoonish world (and a world with a great soundtrack too).

Good story mode line also fun to play with people.

It’s a overall good game but it’s loaded with bugs, nothing a patch can’t fix. Definitely a step in the right direction. Game looks amazing but freezes a lot on Xbox one X. Black screens, no sound, game won’t start at times.

NFS Payback is a fun game with a decent story. The graphics are good. Overall, it's a typical NFS game but it can't compete with the some the other racing games.

As a bargain hunter plus the gamers club discount and rewards cerificates made this next to $0 for me as I really don't play too many racing games but I have always enjoyed Need for Speed.

This is a great game for the price. Good story line and fun racing for myself and the kids. Definitely more fun with the steering wheel accessory.

MY HUSBAND IS TEACHING ME HOW TO PLAY AND IT IS KIND OF DIFFICULT BECAUSE I NEED ANOTHER TYPE OF CONTROLLER. I'M NOT A TRUE GAMER EITHER. LOL!

in my opinion its a good racing car game, not the best Need for Speed but it was worth the black Friday sales price. I definitely would not have paid more than $25 for this game otherwise

Reminded me of the good old days when underground seemed fascinating. The story ain’t that fascinating. But fun to play!

I like it but compared to the last "Need for Speed" that came out its not the best. I recommend the previous one for someone looking for drifting and great graphics.

It’s no Forza 7. I had fun with it but very glad I picked it up on a Black Friday sale. I would wait intel it’s on sale not worth full price.

Got this game for my son. He enjoyed the first week, and it just started to dwindle down from there. He doesn't even play the game anymore and as a matter of fact, not sure where he placed the game. This version is just like other versions of the game but with a few more features. Graphics is good, and fun to play until you get bored of it.

If you've played most of the other NFS games you'll understand when I say the core gameplay hasn't changed much. The story line is pretty cheesy at times, and the graphics are a little outdated. Graphics wise, it doesn't look any better than versions that came out a couple of years ago. They're still good, but not as good as other games. If you like NFS you'll probably enjoy this game, I did, but it won't WOW you.

Best Need for Speed since Underground. The graphics are amazing as well on the Xbox one X. Highly recommend.
