Great racing game that fits well into the need for speed world. Even in 2024 it's worth playing.

never really played an NFS game before, so i decided to grab this while it was clearanced. it's a terrific open-world environment in which u can drive or fast travel to specific points on ur map to engage with mission-based races, rival challenges, item pickups, etc. u can also customize ur vehicles' systems (brake, gearbox, etc.) for peak performance and its exterior (body mods, paint, decals) for peak swag. somewhere in all this there *is* a storyline, but i sorta don't care lol. i'm way too immersed in doing everything else outside the main storyline stuff. i'm taken aback by how little hype i've seen around this game (it's THAT GOOD imo). maybe it gets overshadowed by forza horizon or whatever. strongly recommend u get this game. and when u do, turn the in-game music down and turn up my "TURBO DRIFTER" playlist on spotify. cheers! ;]

This is the classical racing game, I think they could have done better

Not sure why this gets all the hate but I enjoyed this game tremendously. It has a fun (but short) story line and the graphics and customization of the cars was really fun. As far as the pay to win gripe, there's nothing wrong with someone that can and is willing to throw down extra cash for a reward. As for this games PTW, you can upgrade your car without having to pay it's just a little extra grind to warn the cash as opposed to rolling the speed/trade in cards.

This game is great all together. Brings back the many choices of customization NFS first introduced. Brought back cop chases which I loved since first playing NFS hot pursuit two in my game cube. And overall if you love racing let alone NFS games and their francise they have, this game is a must have.

Great racing game , graphics are well done , good story . plenty of things to do , just wish the cops weren't so fast even the best car in the game the old police interceptor will pass you like your standing still

Took me a while to complete this game's story mode, but it was definitely long and worthwhile just to see how the story played out. The gameplay was definitely fun the longer you stayed with the game and learned how its new mechanics work. Speed Cards is introduced as your new system for upgrading your ride beyond its natural limitations, which kind of keeps you coming back in hopes to being ready for the next big event. Sometimes you have to replay events to earn enough to get to the next big thing, but it's not a constant thing if you are frugal early on with base shipments and earned rewards. For a smooth gameplay style, I recommend you save all of your Speed Cards until you really need them. Don't sale the ones you don't want; store them to invest in rolling three unused ones for a chance to score a really powerful one later on as you progress through the game with your car of choice. Save up all of your money to get that dream car you always wanted (mine was the Jaguar F-Type R). The only downside to this game, when compared to the likes of Hot Pursuit, is that the cop chases are either very difficult to get past later on in the game and that they just end automatically after you get toward your final checkpoint. It's nowhere near as good as it was when you actually had to work hard and think creatively at dispatching them in previous games. The game is split up between Race, Drift, Drag, Off-Road, and Runner (Cop Chase) events. You'll most likely spend most of your time as a racer and doing off-road events because those two are the most challenging as you get deeper into the game. (Off-Road is particularly unfair on certain difficulty settings.) There are a million little distractions to do in the open-world of this desert city, so go out and explore, find derelicts, and save up for your dream car. Then go online and challenge the world with your unique ride.

As a fan of need for speed, this one is an excellent addition. Super fun and challenging

Great game, ok controllers, interesting story, cheese punch lines sometimes funny or not, graphics are pretty good, would’ve been awesome if it was 4k

I love the Need for Speed platform these games are sooooo much fun, and this one does not disappoint, it is a little animated for the characters for my standards from all of the other need for speed games, but it gives you many many many more cars and trucks to choose from as you are going through your challenges. As with all of the Need for Speed games this one is of course a MUST HAVE as well.

I love this game because its a lot of fun with alot of cars to choice and customize. You are always on the run because its a high stakes race all the time which I like about the game.

This is a good installment in the NFS series. The voice acting is kind of blah but the game play and graphics are smooth.

As a need for speed fan I absolute love the nfs playing mechanics, arcade style racing , in simple words. Just fun

Played online for free on Xbox. Wish i knew it was free since its free download. Its fun and good for collector on sealed games. The knly compaints is that BB always stupid merchandise stickers on the items they have you pick up.

Need for speed is always consistent in making an overall fun game. Nice cars.
