This is the best NFS I've played, way better than Most Wanted. Looks awesome on PS4, and very exciting to play online. This is the only racing game out for PS4 right now.....

probably the best NFS i have played. Graphics were amazing for even the older gen consoles like the ps3 and the xbox 360. i played this game on my ps3 and i loved every second of it. From the start to the end. The story line and the wonderfully made races. The "weapons" remind of the 2010(?) NFS Hot Pursuit and it's like a full upgrade from that. i loved this game and i honestly think that anyone that wants to get into the NFS series now, should start with this game. i rate it 9/10 (just because the AI cops were extremely annoying when you turned into a cop, they'd crash in front of you and block you in any way possible)

Well, I tried to choose a game that would help me to learn how to play the PlayStation. I figured a race car game would work and it did. This is a fun game with speed. I love playing this game.

I still preferring the pther story like need for speed...... this is more like the 1 ones ......but is preference. Good grahics and excellent sound!

Need for Speed: Rivals is a fun, open-world racing game that has you either joining the law to shut down the illegal racers that cruise the streets of Redview County, or become a racer yourself and try to avoid the police. The graphics are beautiful, and the gameplay is fun and exciting, for sure. The largest issue I have with this 2013 installment of the NFS series - and this is totally just a personal preference - sometimes, when you collide with something in the environment, whether this be a fellow car, a lightpole or the like, the game takes away your control over your vehicle and forces you to sit there for a few seconds and stare at your motionless ride - while the rest of the world ticks on in the background, which means you can be busted by cops if they swarm you during this time, or get wrecked as oncoming enemy vehicles collide with you. It's a minor frustration, especially when it costs me all of my hard-earned points, but I'm admittedly not great at driving in this game anyways. If you're looking for a NFS game for your modern system, I hear some of the newer offerings like Payback or Heat have even more options for your cars and a more in-depth story. But Rivals does more than enough for those that just want to zoom around an open world, like myself.

If you play Need for Speed games, then you know what you're getting. Even though this older one doesn't have as good a story mode as recent outings, the gameplay remains smooth and the upgrade system is fun. Graphics (of course) aren't as good as Microsoft's Forza series, but they are still (today) more than good enough to deliver. The police chases, as always, are the draw. Here, you get to play both sides. Recommended!

This is a fun game. The fact that you can play as the police is pretty cool. The cars are cool, and the challenges are fun.

My kids wanted the game. Now I play it more than they do. Fun game!

Bought for grandson. The graphics are really great, he loves the cars available. So many different ways to play. Police chases are exciting.

havent player this game online yet but so far it's been awesome

Was originally interested in this game because my wife and I were desperately waiting for a follow up to Burnout Revenge on PS2. I can only imagine how this game is since I never opened it since it was only a 1 player game. ridiculous!!! never played it because I like to play a competitive car racing game that is especially entitled "RIVALS" with the person next to me in my house opposed to the millions of people i don't know around the world. Switched it out for KNACK instead... and it is amazing. Surprisingly a 2 player co-op. Might check out NFS Most wanted instead.

this game allows you to playas both cop or robbers. it has a very sensitive handling and gives a great sensation of real racing. its a fun and easy way to break the law without getting into trouble.

the need for speed rivals game is tons of fun and excellent

Bought this game on a chance because it was priced at $19.99. Well worth the investment. It's not perfect but still a fun game.
