While the game is polished and looks fantastic, the story mode is short and the game lacks a true multi-player experience. It's better than NFS: The Run, but is no where near as good as NFS: Hot Pursuit. Buy it when it's like $20 or cheaper!

Bought this for my son who is a racing game nut. He loves it. Best graphics & game play of the NFS series so far.

I have always been a fan of need for speed . The game is good , graphics are awesome . I took away one star from the rating as its a single player game in standalone mode . Also there should have been an option to race during daytime . Other than that awesome game to add to your collection !

Definitely recommend this game. It's nice to see NFS go back to its root of open world and customization .

Long-time Need for Speed fan but this one missed the mark. Having the online all the time feature is unnecessary. While the map is quite expansive, it is too big for its own good. Driving constantly back and forth across the map to reach destinations is time-consuming and makes me lose interest quickly. The constant night-time is also another disappointment. This map is well done but would have looked much better if we were allowed to see it during the day-time as well. I realize that NFS is trying to get back to its racing roots, but I actually kind of miss the Hot Pursuit mode with gadgets that aided you in escaping and cops that actually made it hard to get away. I barely run across any cops when playing and yet a specific storyline is tied to running up your fines?

Really good game good graphics probably the best racing game for ps4. Love the customization in the game.

This game is crazy cool, just be aware that you need internet to play even as a single player. Kinda bogus but other than that it is REALLY great graphics and modding ability.

Very fun driving game. I play it with my 8 year old son and he loves it too. Easy to control and allows you to advance at your own pace. Don't care for some of the characters dialogue. All in all I would definitely recommend this game at a great price.

The game is beautiful, and sounds great. Sadly though at launch the rubber band AI killed my enjoyment so much so that I actually stopped playing it. However there have been some patches and updates that have greatly fixed the issue recently. I feel its worth your time now.

I'm a huge fan of need for speed games but lately their games haven't been that good. They tried to bring back what made the franchise famous but the game is really short. The story line can be beat in a day. It also requires you to always be online if you don't play online

After the original Most Wanted, I was on again off again with this franchise. I think I might be back into it again because of this games customization. Graphics are good, and the races are fun. Just don't care for the whole online stuff, it gets boring and repetitive.

It is a fun racing game, although there are some flaws. You cannot pause the game, even in single player mode, and the AI can be too hard at some times, but the races are fun, the graphics are nice, and the game is cool in general.

This game has it all. It's a great addition to the previous need for speed games.

Great game overall. At first the game had server issues that sometimes would kick you out of the game but those have been resolved with the latest patch. My only qualm with the game is that you can only play when connected to the Internet.

I have found this NFS to be a great fresh start to a dying series. Even though some things like handling is a bit hard but you can tweak the car to grib or drift more. Customization is fun and story is a bit long but very fun and enjoyable.

I have not come across a really great car game in awhile. I like the Need for Speed games for the most part, but it has been awhile since I have come across one I simply couldn't put down. This one's previews looked promising and I got it. I was not at all let down. I love the immersive story line and the crew. I love the scenes with the people on top of all the racing and free driving.
