It's not terrible but it doesn't do enough to separate it from any other game in the franchise. Besides live action cutscenes with real actors and bad actors at that, it feels like I'm playing the same NFS games I've been playing for years. The industry and genres associated with it is evolving and this game seems to have been left behind. You can't even pause the game for crying out loud!! What?! Fun for a little bit and really fun if playing online with friends but I would wait until it's less than $20 if I could do it all over again.

I love this game. I've been playing the Need for Speed series since the Panasonic 3DO. This is a great game. The speed of the game is amazing as well as the game's visuals. The soundtrack leaves a little to be desired, but hopefully you can stream music from the hard drive soon enough. It does rain a lot in the city. It must be Seattle.

This was not for me but for grandson. When I gave it to him he started to play it and I don't think he has put it down as of two weeks. Must be a very interested game for someone who likes speed.
