I think this game deserves better rating but what do I know. I think the driving mechanics, graphics, and sense of speed were all top notch. Variety of race maps were good too, although there could have been more. Single player story was short and forgettable but online races were always fun and challenging. I think if it had more content, this game could have been one of the best.

I found this game to be just challenging enough for me to play, but not so much that I give up and quit playing it. If you don't play alot and you like racing games this one is one for you. It reminds me of the Cannonball Run. Get it and play it.

Game I love it but You guys advertise this for free shipping in the deal of the day and charged me shipping fee. Ridiculous...not sure may be theres a bug in your software or you guys intend to do that.... is a mystery...

This game is flawed in every way. I only bought it because I got it for $10 being a Unlocked member. U can't pick your cars unless u hit a gas station, then your slowed down when u rejoin the race. Yes. There's a lot of cars but u don't get anything any good until near the very end of the game. And its short. Barely a 2 hour campaign. The story is under whelming. I don't care about the character. The people after you are barely in the story. Only during the load do you learn about these people and it has no consequence to the game. The load times are horrible, upwards of 30 seconds or more, even when you restart the same race! The graphics are incredibly subpar for this generation of console and with racers like Forza and Grand Turismo. I believe BFS:MW on my PS2 looked as good. NFS is popular enough it deserves its own design team like all other great games. Instead Hot Pursuit gets handed off to Criterion, and I have no idea who made this but its even worse. There's no consistency among the titles. Very naked attempt of EA to milk it for all its worth just like Guitar Hero. I miss the quality of the old NFS.Yes, some were only so so (Carbon, Undercover) but most had a quality to keep me playing long after I beat the game. Single player is in serious trouble ob this generation of console unless its an RPG. This isn't quality work. Buy it used or with a coupon if you must try it.

Good racing game. Graphics are good. Sound and different cars make it nice.

Overall great game a must have if u don't like to keep racing on a track all the time this game is 4u.....

I'm more into car games than any other genre and I tend to excel at them. This game is not your ordinary car game. It has a good amount of action to cut away from the cross country racing. I hate the fact that there is no local multiplayer option, but that aside it's a really good fun game. I ended up beating it in one day.

Good but not great driving game. This is not Gran Turismo or Forza, but it is fun with the storyline & online racing.

I like it. I like the online play. But there is NO need for speed without the SLOW MOTION TRIGGER! bring it back!

Really fun game, with amazing graphics. Easy to play for casual gamers.

I was always an NFS fan, but in the recent years I stopped playing as all of them started to look similar. This game is genuinely tougher and I like that it has a story behind it. I got it for $5 in best buy, and it is worth 10 times more than that.

Decent fun need for speed game. It guides you through a series of cutscenes that transition you into taking control of the vehicle in the scene (normally) without bringing up a loading screen. On sale for $5 at the time but I wouldn't have been upset if I paid 10 or 15.

I've been a NFS fan since PSOne just recently got a PS3 & love the gaming in HD. I like the game play on The Run, but it sometimes can be a bit frustrating with the way the AI works. It sometimes has traffic cars appear or disappear right in front of you.

This game follows along with past NFS games. It is more like Undercover and that type of NFS. There is more of a story line like other games but the overall action is probably not quite what NFS Underground and Undercover are as for variation in the game.

I haven't played any need for speed games since Hot Persuit. This one is great because it has a fun story line to go with the races. Also, when you crash and burn its gets you back in the game quickly.

That is what intrigued me about this game was the story line. Mechanics are a little stiff but all in all not a bad game. You don't feel like you "grinding" so much as you do in some other racing games.

Awesome game and I would definitely recommend this game.
