Max Von Sydow gives a great performance as the devil with convincingly acted where most actors would be laughable. He steals every scene whereas Ed Harris is a passable protagonist with what little he's given. The tale is a cautionary message to all if you value objects before morality and how far will you go? Great movie!!

Steven King horror story brought to life. Although not entirely faithful, The story is a nice combination of Horror, plot twists, and humor (read the charges on the parking tickets). the Devil does his evil, not so by supernatural powers but appealing to the weaknesses and vulnerabilities, and suppressed evil natures of his customers. Max Von Sydow is charming as the Devil and merely sits back and enjoys the show as the townsfolk fight each over in ever increasing acts of violence and mayhem. False leads abound as people jump to conclusions and take action out of jealousy and rage.

Oh for some reason this movies hard to find a Blu-ray but pretty good movie for a Stephen King movie Lotta good names in it yes I would recommend it

Needful things is my favorite Stephan King movie, I loved the plot, and the acting was very good, I definately recommend this movie, if you are a Stephan King fan.

Movie is good enough. A fun watch. If you're a king fan it's nice to see something with sheriff Pangbor

This movie is a horror classic. Like with all King movies, the novel was better, but the movie kept the spirit of the novel. Ed Harris is a great Alan Pangborn. Overall it was a good movie.

This film is awsome. It's kinda funny but has serious scene's that grab your attention.

It's a decent Stephen King based movie, and it's a decent presentation of the movie on blu-ray. Nothing stand-out about any of it. It's too expensive at over $10 or $12 in my opinion.

needful things is a pretty good movie base off a stephen king book it is not his best but alot better than others one they made into movies from stephen king books the blu-ray looks and sounds pretty good the only down side is that it does not include the extended cut but still worth owning on blu-ray so if you want a pretty good stephen king movie than check out needful things
