This is the dehydrator that is recommended by the NY Times and after researching brands around this price, I am glad I purchased it. So far has worked well, drys evenly with a good fan and motor. The 1,000 watt motor is very effective, but also audible, so that and the fan noise may be bothersome to some, but it eventually it fades to white noise. I love the ability to set timed sessions as well as set the temperature from 90 to 160 degrees means you can dry everything from herbs to fruit to meat. It comes with 4 trays which is a good starter set as storage of more trays would be a problem in my crowded pantry.

A little louder than expected but good product overall. Easy to use and easy to clean. Made jerky and fruit leather. Jerky was great but the fruit leather needs work but it was about me not the machine. Left it on too long. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a dehydrator.

Went to BB Store to order. Had an ad from another store at a lower price. Store person entered the wrong part number. We assumed that it was right, but checked when I got home and found that it was not. Went back the next day and ordered the correct one. Couldn't cancel this one, so returned it when it came in. Nothing wrong with it, just had different options than what I wanted.

Dehydrator works great. I love how the fruit and vegetables come out. Haven't tried the jersey yet but next on my list.

Replacement for another less expensive unit, not digital. Used once and then unit won't heat.
