It leaks from day one if you don't empty out the tank as soon as you finish making your cup. After about a month it will no longer shut off automatically at the desired level and if you don't watch your cup will overflow until the tank is empty.

I bought this for my college age daughter, but she could not get it to function properly. She followed the directions and even googled tips for using, but nothing helped. She even had a friend look at it who has their own espresso machine but no luck. She returned it to Best Buy within the return period for a refund.

I received this coffee maker for Christmas last year. It was a huge disappointment. The water never got hot enough, even after running it through two times before trying to make an espresso. The Coffee pods provided with it did not fit, and fell through. I bought other Nespresso coffee pods with the same results. I return the gift to the giver, who probably returned it to Best Buy.
