Not a fan of the built in milk frother, it has a very small container for old pods, and the disassembly/cleaning of the milk container is a pain. Returned for a newer vertuo machine with separate milk frother

This Nespresso machine, and the pods it uses, makes a delicious tasting beverage that is as good as espresso or lattes from a coffee shop. It is very easy to use, and can be customized to make different drink sizes through the use of the programmable buttons. Its compact size fits well in my kitchen, and the high-end look blends well. Make no mistake, this is a very premium product that will look great in any kitchen, Now for a drawback. Be aware that the high-pressure pump and milk froth process are on the loud side. So depending on your living situation and time of use, you may wake up people you live with. So as I indicated in my review summary, this Nespresso machine is perfect for lovers of Lattes and Espresso that want a premium tasting beverage that you would normally only get from a coffee shop. It really does taste that good. The pods are on the expensive side, but at less then a dollar each, they are less expensive that going to a coffee shop, and the cost of the machine and pods will pay for themselves over time.

Loved this machine for the first month or so. Made delicious lattes from a compact, nice looking machine. Unfortunately the milk frother stopped working after 1-2 months. In 6 months, I had been through 3 replacement machines at which point nespresso sent me a different model.

The size of the machine is fine. We continue to have problems with the Latte Button as it does not work all of the time. We reviewed the instruction; however they were not a lot of help. We went on-line to view a video; however that was not much help either as the latte button still does not light up all of the time. We clean the milk attachment however it still does not work. Then all of a sudden the latte lights up and it works. Who knows??

I am not a coffee connoisseur but I enjoy lattes and macchiatos quite a bit. I already had a different type of pod machine but it was lacking on the espresso functions. With this machine, I was skeptical of how easy it was going to be to clean the milk container. It turned out to be much easier in practice than the impression I received from the instructional video. It uses however much milk I put into it and then dispenses the coffee after. The quality of the Nespresso pods is excellent. So far I have only used the sample pack that came with the machine but I have been happy with every flavor I tried, even the decaf flavors. Overall, I am pretty happy. But there are a few minor negatives. First, the largest serving programmed from the factory is 3.7 oz / 110 ml so it does not easily produce a normal sized cup of coffee if someone does not want a milk drink. It can be reprogrammed to produce up to 150 ml but I have not tried to do that yet. The serving it does produce tastes excellent but it is pretty much only expected to be used for espresso, cappuccino, lattes, and macchiatos. The next negative is that the water tank is in the back. This limits where the machine can be placed in the kitchen unless a person wants to move the machine each time they need to refill it. It cannot easily remain under cabinets or in front of a wall unless it is moved on a regular basis. Lastly, it seems to drip forever once it is done brewing. It helps to lift the lever which drops the pod into the collecting bin. But it still continues after that. I have to put its removable drip tray in place or else it makes a mess from coffee splattering around. With that being said, I would still recommend this machine to someone who wants a fast, high quality, pod based espresso machine. It does exactly what it was made to do and it does it pretty well. With a few minor changes, it would really be an amazing machine.

well, everything look good by the time I opened this product but when I get to the milk frother, It's been not working at all....mostly for cappuccino and latte machine, the milk part is very important... then I had to return it as defective ...

This Nespresso is an amazing home unit that can make coffee better than other one touch coffee makers. The rich flavor and fragrant aroma is true to the experience and tastes like expensive coffee brewed at the coffee shops. The pods are convenient and come in a variety of options so you can experiment and find the flavor that suits your palette best. The entire unit is fairly compact, but looks elegant and classy sitting on my counter. I like the way I can get a deep and rich cup of coffee along with the frothy steamed milk layer. Overall this machine is easy to use and easy to clean. If you crave cappuccino, latte, espresso without having to leave your house this is the machine you need. It's an ideal fit I feel for a single person or couple that wants gourmet coffee and not weak drip coffee.

This is a cute little machine from DeLonghi for use with original line capsules from Nespresso. It's great that they made the machine for the old style capsules since there are only one or two blends I like in the sample pack included. Cheaper options are available from other retailers since the patent expired. The machine works really well! Espresso comes out creamy, frother for cappuccino really works. I like how there's an infrared sensor for the milk reservoir so it stops automatically. The one touch cappuccino button allows you to set it and forget it. The used capsule drawer holds about ten pieces and the drip tray is tucked neatly underneath. Cleaning the frother is quick and easy. My only con might be the 1 liter water tank is only good for a few shots/cappuccinos. If I had to buy the pods only from Nespresso, that would've also been a negative. Fortunately you can get them from other roasters for about half price. I really like the modern look of it and it's efficient use of space.
