Do not even bother. The milk frother barely works and it takes forever for them to switch, fix, or whatever.

I had no good luck in setting this up or being able to use it to its ability

Overall, this is a good coffee/espresso maker. However, it does have its drawbacks. I like the style of it. It is simple and compact. It doesn't take up as much counter space as my Keurig. It is very fast from the time you turn it on until the time the brew is finished. However, it can be quite the hassle as well. First, it is extremely loud. That has to do with the pump and the pressure that it runs at. This is definitely a drawback for me. I am always the first one up on the weekends and I can't use it first thing in the morning for fear of waking my wife and kids. I have also noticed that once the brew is finished it will stop dripping and you expect there to be no more drips. However, once you release the pod, more coffee drops out into your cup. Keep this in mind to avoid any unnecessary cleanup of the drip tray. The milk container needs to be cleaned after every use. It is recommended to disassemble it completely and clean it in the tip rack of your dishwasher. It can also be hand washed. Once you have brewed your coffee you simply raise the handle for the pod again and it deposits it into the tray below. Below that tray is a drip tray for the pod. You simply slide them out, separate them and throw the pod away and rinse out the drip tray. It has an auto shutoff feature which has a default of 9 minutes. You can extend this time in the settings. You can also adjust the brew size in settings. Note that you have to hit select buttons to start a brew and then release the button when it gets to your preferred amount. There is no screen to have a menu. As this is mainly an espresso maker, the brew size is very small as a default. There is a maze under it for cord routing so that you don't have excess cord hanging out on your counter. This is simple and effective. It comes with a lot of capsules. There are 9 sleeves of 14 varieties. I wish that there was a guide in the manual listing the different varieties. I had to look them up on the website to get the flavor profiles. According to the manual, you can only purchase the capsules in the manufacturer's website and at their boutique stores, of which I have never seen one. Overall, if you are a die-hard espresso fan, this may be great for you. If you just occasionally like an espresso, you might just want to go to your local coffee shop.

I wanted to like it so bad... Both small and large espresso buttons were very inconsistent. They would never output the correct amount of coffee. Coffee was warm and not hot. Doesn't let you run hot water through the milk frother. Has a sensor that only works if milk is detected.

Foam does not even work properly, does not brew right.. i see more water coming out from the machine .. only used it for few month and did not have time to return it.. NO STAR for this product

I received this coffeemaker a few days ago, we are pleased with the taste and ease of making a cup of coffee! I also love the fact that you pop the coffee pod/capsule in and lift and close the lever and it eject’s the coffee pod/capsule into the “used capsule container.” The used capsule container holds at least 5 pods/capsules, so you don’t have to worry about emptying the container after every single use. A couple of downsides, mainly with the latte steamer (where the milk goes) 1. Having to remember to point the spout towards your cup if not you will have a gigantic mess! 2. Disassembling the Rapid Cappuccino System (aka the latte steamer -where the milk goes) and Soaking all components in with hot potable water (40°C / 104°F) together with mild / soft detergent for at least 30 minutes and rinse thoroughly with hot potable water (40°C / 104°F). Do not use odor mild / soft detergents, as per manual instructions <— this is all from the user manual! It is quite a process to clean! Other than that it is a good machine, since we dont use this machine for everyday use- the extra maintenance to keep the machine clean does not bother us. This machine meets our basic needs when entertaining guests! And our guests love it too!!!!

Very hard to rate due to it being a Christmas present. Your return policy for Christmas presents bought before 30days is awful.

The Nespresso Latissimo One Espresso maker is a wonderful, compact, no-hassle coffee maker that produces coffee head and shoulders above competitor "Cup" brewers. The espresso from this unit is almost as good as you'll find in some chain coffee shops but certainly cheaper and more convenient. Here's my main points: +Compact and good looking. Easily fits on your countertops and underneath cabinets. +Sturdy and well-built. The unit itself is a matte plastic that doesn't creak or feel cheaply made. The capsule loader has a metal trim and a satisfying feel to open and close. +Easy to clean. The Milk frother comes apart and you can fill it with water to clean also (more on this later). Emptying the coffee capsule chamber and water reservoir is easy by sliding out the tray. +Good size water reservoir, can be removed or filled from the top. Fully filled will do about 3 Lungo sized cups and 3 cleaning cycles. +Makes excellent coffee and Milk Frother is fantastic! It does the whole frothy milk perfectly followed by the Espresso, you get all that mixing in the glass that looks like you just got a pour from a Barista. +Comes with 14 Original Pods and the replacements are only around $1 each, which is very cheap compared to the competition or an actual coffee in a shop. The unit isn't perfect however, so there is room for improvement. -The reservoir is way in the back which makes it harder to fill, having it on the side would be ideal. -The Milk Frother doesn't pour directly into the center and a cup that is big enough kind of hangs off the side of the small-ish drip tray. I am using a Double Old Fashioned Glass however, but a glass like the one they use in the pictures may be better. -The unit tends to continue to drip after you make a coffee, so have another glass ready or you will get a lot of drippage in the tray. There is also a lot of waste water that accumulates in the tray underneath the empty pods too for some reason. -The latch that loads the pod into the chamber to brew (kind of like loading a bullet) seems to get caught sometimes. It only happened the last few cups I made, but I was still able to load the pod. -You can clean the coffee frother with water but annoyingly, they made a "light" sensor behind the milk reservoir that detects light. Clear fluid (Water) does not give you the option for the frother. If you put a piece of paper or opaque tape over that sensor, you get the option to clean with water. -The unit takes some time to warm-up on first brew. Be patient, while lights are blinking constantly, the options are not available. Espresso and Lungo are available at first (about 30 seconds), and the milk frother is available about 15 seconds later. -Would be nice if there was a timer function to make a cup of coffee. Overall this is an excellent unit and makes wonderful coffee and espresso quickly and cheaply, very happy with this unit!!!

You will get tired of cleaning milk everywhere I would suggest to get a machine with separate milk frother , this might look nice but it doesnt do the job
