Upgraded from a Honeywell programmable thermostat. It is like night and day. Love being able to control from the app and the automatic set to away when I leave, saving me energy and money. being able to schedule when to use the sensor as the primary thermostat for temperature control is also a nice feature, since my house is a split level but my AC is only 1 zone, I can have the kids bedrooms comfortable for them at night when they sleep and the main part of the house comfortable during the day when we are using it.

At first, the thermostat kept turning off, I thought that it was broken but I actually didn't connect all the wires. It works great now and couldn't be happier.

I've always wanted this product but ever since the temperature sensor was released I was even more convinced to get this thermostat. The sensor allows you to take the temperature of the room of your preference, even with the thermostat being in the kitchen I am able to take the temperature of the sensor which is in the coldest room of the house instead of the kitchen which is the warmest room due to cooking. You are also able to schedule certain temperatures at certain times and you are able to see how many hours your thermostat ran in 24 hours. Highly recommend this product.

Easy to install and connect to phone. Now I can setup from anywhere - on the drive home from the airport so that the house is cool when we get there.

Great product and its easy to use. I have two units and they are both run by nest. The temperature sensor was a plus.

I have had no issues with the Nest thermostat. It was relatively easy to install and has been pretty easy to use.

Device has connection for all type of wires. It knows which wire is connected and whether there is power. It will tell you once the cover screen is attached and it checks the unit. If unsure of the wire color function, do search online, which I did. Does need constant power to connect wirelessly. Power is only an issue when you have only a heat connection. If you have a HVAC, there is constant power. Easy to control Nest from app and gives you control from anywhere. You do need wireless to control from app.

Wish I would've purchased one of these a long time ago. A little difficult to hook up with my system, but works perfect and very user friendly.

There are many other thermostats out there. Some have larger screens, some have a few more features, and some are less expensive. I've owned three or four different thermostats across two different houses; Nest is by far the best bang for the buck, easiest to use, regular updates, few glitches/bugs, and its nice to have one app for my cameras, my thermostat, and other Google/Nest devices. I also have a Nest Thermostat E in my garage for my heater there.

I did need to change my control board on my gas forced hot air furnace, but it was time for an upgrade anyway. I recommend the remote temp sensor, since our thermostat is near the garage door and not near the living room where we spend most of our time. Opening the door to the garage would give a false sense that the house was colder than it really was. Easy to program with a smartphone and I really like the way it displays information when you walk by it.

I purchased this thermostat with reservations; skeptical if it would actually do a good job. I also purchased an additional temperature sensor to place in one of the bedrooms that never has the right temperature in it. I can say I have been pleasantly surprised that I am impressed with this thermostat and the sensor! Both have worked impressively since installing them. They were not cheap but I am happy that I paid the price and installed this thermostat.

Long behold the installation process was a simple as can be with step by step visual instructions. We couldn’t have been happier with anything else. We love this product and have since purchased the camera doorbell and bolt lock. I so love the convenience of all of our new Nest products! You will not be disappointed!!
