We have 5 around the house and We primarily use them for music and communication. The AI is improving but still needs development. I have to figure out the exact correct phrases in order to get it to do what I need. My biggest concern is that the device periodically disconnects from our WiFi. When this happens, I have to power cycle the device. It’s annoying. I’m excited to see the capabilities of these kinds of devices in 5 years.

We recommend performing the troubleshooting steps below to improve the connection between your router and your Nest Mini:
- If you have a dual band router, try setting up your Nest Mini on either the 2.4GHz or 5GHz bands and see which band is more stable.
- Check for possible congestion with your Wi-Fi network.
- Check for possible interference, as thick walls and other devices in your home may weaken Wi-Fi signals.
- Bring your Nest Mini closer to your router to get better signal reception from your router.
- Restart your Nest Mini and your Wi-Fi router. Unplugged the devices from the power outlet. Leave them unplugged for at least a minute before plugging them back in.
