I was fed up with poor WiFi coverage in my house and heard good things about the Google mesh. They worked really well all over the house. That was extra important since we have poor cell coverage at home and our service works with WiFI calling.

Replaced single router with this mesh system because at far end of house signal would be weak at times when door was shut. With this system have never had a stronger connection anywhere in the house. Love it

I have a massive old house and it scoffs at wifi signals. After researching mesh setups, I chose the nest. I have full speeds in the main areas of my house; however, I need a couple more satellite units to completely wash my house in a signal.

This thing is a game changer for those with a larger house. It seamlessly provides WIFI for a whole house without the need for additional Extension Networks. Very Easy setup, do it with the Google Home App. You dont need an IT Professional to set it up.

We live in a 3 story house and with COVID-19, all of us are working/schooling from home. Connection would drop throughout the day, some places more than others. With Google Nest, we no longer lose connection. Set up took 10 minutes. LOVE it!

We really like this item. It’s nice to set priorities with each computer and tablet, especially right now with everyone working and schooling from home. We can also turn on and off access to the kids tablets if they’ve reached their daily limit.

Very user friendly, discreet chic look that does get dirty easily, and had been working wonderfully with no internet connection issues. It’s also great that you have control of who is on your internet, setting guest network, and very easy to understand/speak to. She cute she cute

If you have SPECTRUM internet, this router is an absolute must! Our internet/wifi would go out constantly, multiple times a day. We would have spectrum out at least once a month for connectivity issues. It would work for a day or two and right back to loosing internet again. Tried new spectrum routers, new modems and even some after market routers. Nothing helped. So finally after talking to a best buy agent, she recommended this, said she had similar issues with her house and this fixed it. Once installed, we haven't lost internet/wifi or had any connectivity issues since! This is a definite must have. We have full signal throughout our entire home and detached garage. Highly recommended.

I upgraded to the Nest Wifi from the original Google Wifi because it has stronger antennas that give it a larger coverage footprint. Granted, my apartment is only 1000 sq ft but for some reason, the wifi signal was not reaching all the way to my home office where my desktop computer is. I technically got a signal but it was a fraction of the bandwidth every other room was getting. My new setup has drastically improved everything! I not only switched out the Google Wifi for the Nest Wifi as my main hub router, but I was also able to then use the original Google Wifi now as one of the "beacons" located in my office. The bandwidth increased well over 1000%! Needless to say, I'm very satisfied with those results (~‾▿‾)~

Returned a Netgear Orbi Tri-band system for this system and I’m so glad I did. So far it’s night and day. This is so quick and easy to set up. Even if I reboot the system, it comes up back online quickly. Orbi would take a good 10 to 15 minutes.

Installation was fairly easy and everything was going great, until we lost internet for a day. We had to factory reset each wifi point, and setting it back up was a pain. Hoping that it doesn't happen again! So, when we have internet without interruption, the system is great.

I love being able to use the Google Assistant all over the house now. We were having difficulty getting wifi in all parts of the house & this definitely took care of that.

Great now it’s working. Very frustrating with Spectrum internet since I needed them to “re-provision” their modem. Couldn’t find that advice in Google searches and initial calls to both Google and Spectrum failed to identify the issue. Final calls to both revealed the magic word, after which, set up was a breeze. Works great with so far no dead spots found in our four bed, two floor and finished basement home. Would suggest getting an Ethernet switch since the Google unit has only one output and we have hard wired TV, phone, NAS etc. Nearly returned it due to modem connection frustration, but glad I didn’t. So much better than previous Wi-Fi extender option.

I bought this Google wifi on Black Friday. I used to have weak signal in the room far way from the modem. Once I installed the Google wifi with add point, my internet speed is as same as the modem. Definitely it is good product.

First, this is a great mesh wifi router. It's easy to setp and has many nice features, e.g., filtering out adult content for certain devices. Second, the built-in speaker is better than Google home mini's with all the same features plus some, e.g., you can ask it to run an internet speed test.

I wanted a mesh system and this one is easy to install and use. BTW, Google help is excellent. I had to contact them for one minor thing and was so pleasantly surprised by how efficient that process was, unlike most other companies.

Absolute garbage. Worked for 13 months. I got cameras, thermostats, assistants, spent around $1300 on associated google home products. Now it suddenly cut out. I tried everything, google support, thankfully Best Buy said they would help and replace it (I have an appointment tomorrow so will report back if their solution actually works out) My advice is to stay away from google. Terrible support, overpriced garbage products

The setup was so simple, signal was very strong, speeds were great. The only thing that didn't work for me was that I needed to separate wifi bands with different SSID's. Not possible with Nest WiFi so I had to return it.

This was easy to set up... except for connecting my wifi lightbulbs. After Googling it I eventually got them all working, but it was not a straightforward process. However, if you have a simple setup at home (connecting a computer, tv, cell phone, etc.), this is a really great option.

I went into Best Buy wanting a new WiFi. I had read some reviews that google nest was not good at all. The salesperson said that for my house google nest was the best choice. I reluctantly went ahead and purchased it and I have extremely satisfied.
