Good basic smart lock that does everything I need a smart lock to do

Easy to install, easy to connect! Best item we bought for our new home!!

Easy install. Great product which was so easy to setup and install

Easy to retrofit. Pay attention to the deadbolt alignment, it does not always line up with the strike plate. I used the existing striker plate with a minor adjustment. Great instructions. NEST has the best instructions and accompanying videos. The kit comes with everything you need. Integration with Google Home is simple and the NEST app is great.

I love how I can put in a passcode and walk right into my home!

Quick and easy entry and self-locking exit makes for speedy stops. Notifications upon disarming the lock are a bonus too.

The lock is simple to install and easy to activate the features.

Now, I am not searching for my keys in my purse all the time! My car has keyless entry and start, but when when I came home I was always searching in my purse for my key chain to unlock the house. Yes, I must have my keys in my purse, and they can just stay there! Now, I just put in my code or use my phone to unlock the door! It is wonderful!

I don’t know why I waited so long to get one of these! No keys to bother with and it’s so simple to allow someone into your place, if need be, when you’re miles away, or in the back room. The only dislike is it will lock automatically, after a set time, if the door is open or closed. If the door is left open after the automatic lock time has counted down; the app still gives a phone notification that the door is locked...even if it’s wide open....

First, the Yale/Nest lock is well made, installs well and is pretty reliable. (Only once in the last 14 months has it failed to operate because of the lock mechanism itself. After removing the batteries and putting them back in, it came back online fine.) Unfortunately, it requires a nest connect device. Pairing the lock and the connect device was a real chore and over time the connect device can have unexpected failures. The big problem is that it has to connect to Google Home - which is incredibly diffucult, time consuming, frustrating and can fail on its own. The Yale/Nest lock by itself would be a solid four stars but the Google Home is a deal breaker. Plus if you want to add Nest cameras to your system, you have to pay for monthly monitoring.

The only reason this isn't a 5-star review is because it does take some sense and care to install the lock. That said any good lock shouldn't be the easiest thing to install. I love this product and it has offered a whole array of options for us to use with our family, workers and ourselves. Don't avoid this, you will love it too.

Easy to install. Works well with existing Nest system

Make sure the plate on the inside of your door is aligned with the lock. If not, it will constantly jam and you will have to keep readjusting it. I had to keep playing with mine to get it to work efficiently.

I really like this lock. I like being able to unlock & lock the door - even when I’m not home. I also like being able to provide others with a specific code for entry & being able to track who has entered our home.

This thing is awsome. Can store a ton of different users each with their own unique passcode and you can see when each person comes and goes. Great purchase

I have miss placed the keys to my front door and thus have purchased the new Nest Yale deadbolt. Now if I get locked out I hope I can remember the passcode.

Was in. The market for new smart lock, this has everything I wanted. App to unlock your house and many features. Highly recommend this product.

Great lock for home and save me time to go in to the houses I love it
