I've been wanting a Samsung Galaxy phone, but couldn't see paying $400 plus for one. After dropping my old cell by accident and having it get wet and not recover, I HAD to go purchase a new phone immediately because of an elderly family member that has to be able to reach me. I knew my wallet would take a hit. Then I found the Samsung Core Prime. Great Samsung quality - the phone is fast, the screen display is nice. Phone size is great, not so large I feel like I'm carrying a reader and I can still fit it in my pocket. Great price for what you get. And it was available in the store, no waiting on ordering online.

Phone is pretty easy to set up and costs less than purchasing through a plan like Verizon or AT&T directly. Speed is good, call reception and clarity is good.

First, I want to thank two great people at Best Buy in Encinitas, CA: the sales rep who recommended the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime and the sales associate who suggested a one year protection plan for the phone after hearing of the mishap that forced me to replace my old LG phone. I've owned the Galaxy Core Prime since early December and so far it's been a great upgrade over the $20 drugstore special it replaced. 4G coverage is great throughout most of the area (San Diego and coastal north SD county), call quality is much improved and I can actually multitask on this phone. The only downsides I've encountered so far: the touch screen responsiveness is inconsistent, sometimes you have to tap more than once to get a response, other times it can be overly sensitive...and the rear-facing camera let me down when I tried to get a decent shot of the full moon over San Diego. Overall I'm very happy with the phone and glad I listened to the great Best Buy sales team in Encinitas.

Takes a clear picture, fast internet, plays movies great, I like the speaker on this phone because it is louder than most other phones that I've had, and I like that it is a good quality and decent priced phone!

After using a flip phone for more than 5 years it was time to upgrade to a smart phone. I wanted to avoid the higher monthly fees and went with net 10 my old carrier because they also offer a discount on monthly renewals. Having had a computer for many years it was quite easy to get used to the programming of this smart phone. With this phone I'm able to access the internet where ever there is a hot spot free of charge and at home I have my own Hi-Fi as well and I have instant access to the web. I find this phone to be very user friendly and easy to use. I would recommend it to any newbie who wants to up grade.

lot nicer than the phone I had More memory and more apps

I have had many NET 10 phones. This one is a great one to get as it has good quality sound and is 4G. Its only flaw is that it only has 8Gb of memory but with a micro sdcard you can improve the memory being able to move apps to the card.

I was actually looking for an S3 to replace my husband's S3 that has a busted screen (he doesn't like change!), but I couldn't find one here online and settled for the Core Prime. We actually have two now - and my husband and son love them. The only thing we haven't been able to figure out is how to set up an auto reject list like you can on the S3, and I don't think that's a possibility with this phone.... otherwise I would give it 5 stars. If we find a way to do that I would happily change my rating!

Decent 4g phone with built in network extender through home WiFi if you have bad reception. Reliable, needs rebooting about every 3 days to work at it's best.

I love my new phone. Great features, more memory, easy to use.

Bought the phone last year and love it but best buy no longer carries this provider would love to see it come back with more option phones 5G or more phone is easy to use for the not so tech savvy great reception where ever I go cost of phone card could be more competitive with other providers best phone ever and no contract yes!

This is my first android cell phone and I love it. My husband purchased his two months earlier. So far no issues with the phones.

Great phone for my son. Previous lg phone, started shutting on and off all the time. This new galaxy phone was the replacement for the lg. Couldn't have asked for a better replacement phone. It is easy to use. Bigger screen, and it is 4g! Best replacement service from the people at Best Buy! They are fantastic!

Decent phone and good camera for a low priced phone. My son likes it alot.

This phone is great for someone who dosn't want to pay for a contract.

This phone isn't top of the line, but if you're looking for a better than average smart phone with all the basics covered, this is a good choice. The battery life is decent, though the cpu is a bit underpowered

Got this phone for my youngest son and he loves it.works great and has decent reception and pretty long battery life.

I am overall very impressed with this phone. It is exactly as advertised, and overall, I am not only pleased with the price that I paid, but also with the many features it offers. That said, I do wish I had been a bit more knowledgeable when going into this purchase. 8 GB of memory seemed like plenty...but now, having used it for a short while, I do find I wish I had more. If there is an option for the same unit with more memory, I'd urge other buyers to consider the investment.

I am enjoying my phone. This is an upgrade from the IPhone 3. I am still learning some things about the phone but I am really happy with my purchase. As a PC user I like the Android OS better.

Long battery life! If I'm not using it much I don't need to charge but maybe once a week. Fast when opening apps and on the internet also.
