I needed a simple switch for a customer office. No need for VLANs or any other smart switch capabilities but I needed a sufficient number of ports. A lot of other basic products seemed to top out at 16 ports but with 24 ports on this one, it had what I needed. Plugged it in and it worked. No problems.

This is the second Netgear 24 port switch I have purchased. I had terrific results with the first one until after many years, the fan became quite noisy. I was pleased with the performance and features so I purchased an identical unit as a replacement.

This is great, iti has 24 gig ports, and I was able to consolidate all my 8 port switches into this and now the system runs faster and smoother than before. wish I would of got this sooner.

Great Product. I have half loaded at moment with 10 servers and handles the load great . Latency is low and i do not notice an issues with lots of data movement over network. For non managed switch, great price , great product.

For a small family business this switch was easy to install and very affordable to do yourself. It helped us solve so slow internet issues and gives us more time to help customers

Easy to set up and configure with auto sensing technology. Can be up and running in a few minutes and then use the easy to use interface for setting up more complicated requirements. Excellent throughput and performance.

It works great. Very pleased with my purchase. Placed in the laundry room which is in the center of the house and see a boost in our speed on our televisions when viewing thru apps.

This device is truly plug and play. It makes me look like a networking genius. I highly recommend this for you networking needs as an extremely affordable option.

I have used my fair share of switches over the year. From enterprise class to basic dumb hub/consumer switches. This is a high end unmanaged switch and is perfect for my needs. I have approximately 30 devices on my network, about half of them are wired with a mix of gigabit and normal fast Ethernet. I see no performance problems with using this switch. My network has a bunch of streaming video services as well as PlayStation 4 console, plus most importantly I have a special datafeed for day trading futures. This switch can handle all of this without bogging down. Quite pleased.

Our switch went down and we needed a new one and this switch was a very quick setup. Just plug the ports in and turn it on and it works. Excellent price.

For the money, you will not find a better unmanaged switch. I use these in multiple business networks. They are very affordable and reliable.

Purchased this to expand my small business network. Great speed and super easy to setup. I'd buy it again. Netgear makes the best switch for consumer level IMO.

I recently had our house wired with 2 cat6 drops in each room (one for computer, one for video use) and had all cables run to a central closet. I mounted this switch on the closet wall using angle brackets and connected all of the cat6 cables to it. There were a few unused ports that I used to connect some network drives to. I currently have 4 computer systems, 4 video systems, and 6 network drives connected to the switch and all systems are running with no problems or interference. The switch operates flawlessly and is unmanaged (i.e. doesn't require any confusing setup - just plug it in and it works). I manage all of my computers/network devices from one location and regularly have multiple screen sharing sessions going simultaneously and have never experienced any slowdown or hiccups on any connection. It's a very good switch for my situation.

This switch is an excellent choice for a small office environment. This product packs a lot of futures into a small footprint and for the price is hard to beat

A quality switch with a large number of ports. No noticeable issues with speed or installation at this time. Came with rack-mount brackets.

I love Netgear. When I need a product that will get the job done, I usually look to Netgear first. This switch is no exception. It does a great job and it has a great price too.
